It's always nice to see kids running out in the dark night towards moving headlights in the distance.

That's much better than just calling 911.

Yeah. And dad's just fine with it.

Chris explained that because he is a volunteer firefighter and Cadence's mother works for an ambulance service, the young girl is well versed in emergency conduct.

A lot of people no longer have landlines and only use mobile. A lot of mobiles are locked. I guess she could use Emergency Mode if she was taught that. But at 4 y/o I doubt it.
