Is it possible that Jack Donaghy is a real person, and this is the Season 7 "Tank the Network" plotline?

They may be excited, but only until they see the lead is attractive and successful.

Make Fletcher the murderer this time and have each episode center on her efforts to pin it on someone else.

They're rebooting the show about America's greatest fictional mass murderer and getting Octavia Spencer?  I'm intrigued.  No, seriously.

They need to do an expose on these murder-attracting folks!  How many people died in Cabot Cove back when Jessica Fletcher was cutting a bloody swath though that tiny town?  It must have had a population of 10,000, but there were 30 murders a year, and they all had a personal connection with Jessica Fletcher.

It's like Shawn Spenser, who has single handedly turned SantaBarbara, which usually has fewer than 4 murders a year, into Detroit-West!

I rather enjoy Murder She Wrote.  Though, in the back of my mind, I always sort of suspected she killed all those people and was really skilled at convincing the authorities other people were guilty.

I'm glad you posted that pic. My wife has the exact same face as a young Angela Lansbury. It's almost creepy. I've always wondered what my wife would look like with longer hair. (sigh) Oh well.

/at least I know what she'll look like when she's old

Seriously, you would think her other friends would read the constant string of news articles involving "famous author Jessica Fletcher, who aided the police in solving the crime," and just stop taking her calls.

It was either Psych or Monk where someone commented on this.  Something like 'you should just never leave your house!  You're like the grim reaper!'

It felt pretty good to finally hear someone say it out loud.  We were all thinking it.

I'm hoping for a re-boot of "Facts of Life" with Traci Lords as Mrs. Garrett.

Wonder Woman reboot? Buck Rogers reboot? Star Trek reboot? Mork and Mindy reboot?

Mork: This week we secretly replaced everyone's showing of The Voice with reruns of The Captain and Tennille to see if anyone would notice.
Orson: And did they?
Mork: Not only did they notice, but the viewership numbers doubled for that time period.
Orson: And then what happened?
Mork: NBC panicked and did the only thing it could think of in such and emergency, it cancelled the re-runs and put The Voice on on multiple times per week. The execs were pretty worried that they wouldn't come in last behind a Spanish station again.
Orson: Why would they want such a thing?
Mork: You see Sir, NBC is like an alter boy; they only feel safe when no one is behind them.
Mork: This is Mork signing off. Nanu! Nanu! (bow)

I think the king of death harbingers is probably Detective Conan. He meets someone who immediately dies in pretty much every episode, and there are hundreds of them.

Morgan Freeman as Ward, Traci Lords plays June.

That was weird. I haven't heard of Angela Lansbury in a long time and just I read this headline my two-year old daughter started playing the main song to Beauty and the Beast?

Kudos to that article for noting the horrid murder rate in Midsomer, usually from Joyce Barnaby stumbling over a body.

Why is it that  mysteries always have to be about murder anyway? The exception being over 40 years of Scooby Doo exposing hoax hauntings as real estate scams. Why are those meddling kids and their dog the only ones even trying to solve crimes other than murder?

I guess there is also Law and Order SVU. They like rape.

One of my favourite moves of all time was Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

Best way to end Murder She Wrote is that it ends up that she framed everyone and she was a serial killer.

What the hell is it with murder shows on TV?  If videogames teach kids to kill, these shows teach adults to kill.  Maybe that's why so many assholes are shooting places up these days.
