Cymbal: Serious question. Were these guys ever cool?Looking back, there really isn't much difference between them and Nickleback.
Mugato: Holy shiat those guys look farking badass.I don't know who the guy on the left is but I'm sure he's hardcore. And Lars is looking at us like "If you even think of traveling to the 1990s and using Napster, you are going to get FARKED UP! BIATCH!". Hetfield is deep in thought about what color to have the contractor paint the wife's new sewing room and Kirk Hammet, who kept his hair long because he's still a bad ass motherfarker is looking away from the camera because he just doesn't give a fark. Because he's metal.METAL![assets2.blabbermouth.net image 638x237]
Gunderson: They bought him in right before St. Anger was released, but instead of delaying the release to have him play bass, they got producer Bob Rock to play. Judging from the crap album it was, it was another one of Metallica's post-1991 junk
Skarekrough: It would take alot more than great bass to make that album "good."
falseidols: [blogs.dallasobserver.com image 530x378]You think you're going to play where?
KJUW89: CSB:I was in Paris a couple of weeks ago for business (shut up, it really was a business trip) and my colleague and I saw a huge gathering of Metallica fans lined up outside a theater near our hotel. Turns out they were in town to host a viewing of their 3D concert/tour movie. James Hadfield owns a pub just down the street that was packed as well.Metallica and Paris just don't seem to go together in my mind, but there are obviously French fans out there.
mediablitz: Cymbal: Serious question. Were these guys ever cool?Looking back, there really isn't much difference between them and Nickleback.Looking back, "Kill 'em All" was nothing like Nickleback. All the way to "Master of Puppets" was cool."Some Kind of Monster" solidified their reputation as whiny soft douchebags forever though.
Car_Ramrod: Can all other metal go with and stay there?
kab: Car_Ramrod: Can all other metal go with and stay there?Look who has no idea how to avoid music he dislikes.
Gunderson: The dude on the left is Robert Trujillo, probably the most talented of the bunch. In addition to playing with Metallica, he has played with Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, Mass Mental, Black Label Society, Ozzy, and Jerry Cantrell.
odinsposse: They brought thrash metal into the mainstream
EyeballKid: Wow, it's been a while since I used the term "sucks on ice," so I'm glad I get to bring it back out just this once.
Snapper Carr: Let me know when they make metal...[i.imgur.com image 600x400]for fish.
