Came here to post those exact words.

I remember I snuck around my house looking for where my parents stashed my birthday gifts and found that. As a preteen boy I was not thrilled about getting a stupid dolphin game, but then when I received it and actually played it, I was enthralled.

I would sneak into my oldest brothers room just to play that game. Loved the first level before you triggered the aliens taking all the Dolphins. Now I must find the game somewhere on a console or PC and get it. I miss it now.

Steam sells it (possibly the whole collection)

I knew they would. They seem to sell almost everything. Just need the money. Thank you Christmas and that nice PS4 with a game (or 2) for taking up all my free cash.

"For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much - the wheel, New York, wars and so on - whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man - for precisely the same reasons."

My mind's really trying to figure this out, but wasn't there a PC game about a dolphin around the aame time? Early 1990s, it was an adventure type game, kind of like Monkey Island, and I remember it being awesome.

CSB:  When Steam had Ecco the Dolphin on sale two years back during Christmas sales, I bought like 80 copies for people on my friends list.
