APB - Be on the look out for 2 men, mid 20's, dark pants, grey jackets, may or may not have 180' of rail road track sticking out the back of their car.

Where is Det. Furman when you need him.

"Fortunately, the two workers' hanky-panky didn't any serious consequences..."

What exactly were the theives doing with the stolen tracks?

In today's Russia, theft occurs on a more serious scale than it did during the USSR, when screw was enough for thieves.

Whaaaaa...??????

The thieves are obviously just trying to set up a model train set underneath their christmas tree for their kids. Let's give 'em a break folks. They did it for the kids!

It sounds like Marxism. It belonged to them anyway. Maybe they will put it to better use.

Rails are high quality steel and I could think of a lot of uses for it.

2001-12-04 03:00:50 PM
I wonder where they will go.

especially:

"Fortunately, the two workers' hanky-panky didn't any serious consequences."

In Africa, this was a little more serious a problem. For a while (and still today, for all I know), some tribes would go swipe rails to make these wicked boomerang-shaped machettes. Head-lopping hilarity ensued...

Yeah? just wait 'till the train with the pickled mushrooms derails!!!, (which is what they were after in the first place. ( unless they stole it from a factory in which case (i have nothing) && (i did not read the article)))

Man do you guys have any idea how HEAVY railroad iron is!? My little brother and I used to pick up scraps late at night and sell the stuff to the local steel mill. We were BORED. There's nothing funnier than watching your 15 year old, 125 pound younger brother run with a 12 inch piece of railroad iron!

Jason!

2001-12-04 04:05:28 PM
i wonder if they left any tracks to find them....hahahah

2001-12-04 04:35:41 PM
i hope they know they can't eat steel

2001-12-04 04:39:56 PM
WTF is a meter?

2001-12-04 05:03:19 PM
Man dad used to work for a railroad and he says that a length of rail which can very to 5 to 25 feet can weigh up 600 pounds and takes about 12 people to carry. So how did 2 of them do it?

2001-12-04 05:08:35 PM
A meter is 39.37" standard US inches, a little more than a yard.

ZZZ, you know what I mean. They could build a bear suit so they could poach bears. Wear the suit and when the bear attacks, drop a price of RR iron on it's foot to cripple it.

hahaha, check out the forums on that site, on this one message board there is this big argument between this guy called "american joe" and everyone else, here is one of the posts-

American Joe you ARE A MORON, hate monger and supremacist!
I see Robespierre wants you dead, very badly. You may not see this X-Mas Joe.

I will tell you a little secret: all of has something what unites us, it is called the "Foreign Legion" , we still keep in touch.

A few thousands of us are in Canada and Australia, if you in the US or
New Zealand you are indeed dead.

Be very afraid,

We have no mercy for terrorists like you.

be very afraid.

I believe that thieves have taken FARK's BOOBIES! Where have they gone??

2001-12-04 06:18:37 PM
if Pravda can't mangle the English language, then the terrorists have already won.

2001-12-04 07:52:54 PM
3 more meters and it would have been hilarious.

2001-12-04 10:08:14 PM
"Fortunately, the two workers' hanky-panky didn't any serious consequences."

Funny translations = gold.

Bore one of those tracks out and you've got one hell of a barrel!

2001-12-05 09:41:13 AM

2001-12-05 05:20:41 PM
What is this a practical joke?? Why the hell would you return steel tracks to a non-ferrous metals deposit site?? Silly russians, tracks are for kids.
