Dhusk: They missed the most obvious one?  Really?  Perhaps the most famous evil cat in pop culture?

Watch those again. Jerry was a dick, Tom was provoked.

JasonOfOrillia: I liked the fact that the list was drawn from more that movies, TV shows, and YA fiction from the last 15 years.

True.  List still fails without Kzinti and whichever Hani families were trying to screw over Chanur.

This article brings to mind the black cat from Neil Gaiman's story "The Price" which protected its family by throwing down with the devil.  I really enjoyed that story.

What was the name of the mangy bastard who selected Halle Berry to be Catwoman? That's the most aggressively evil thing any cat's ever done in a movie, because instead of attacking the characters, the rotten little hairball hurler attacked the audience.

Now THERE'S a movie that would actually be deserving of a reboot. Used to love watching it at my grandparents' place.

True thing.

You could also make a good case for Sylvester being evil, especially at first. Later, he was just hungry.
