I'm SAVED!  Thanks, Obummer!

/not really

So they're adding a buffer to allow for processing time of late applications, especially given the glitches experienced so far...

Curse you 0bangbus!

The FARK headline has little to do with the article, nor the reasoning behind the not-quite-a-delay, but I fully expect this to be the flavor of the new right-wing talking point.

After trying to play GTAV Online for the past week, I'm convinced the Rockstar team must have been the ones who developed healthcare.gov

So.. people who are in process by the deadline aren't going to be impacted by the deadline. Got it.

And to think, due to web glitches have gotten a bigger ACA concession out of Obama then the entire might of the GOP.

the shutdown was worth it.

Seems like a good idea.  The GOP wanted a delay to destroy the ACA, this is just a short extension of the grace period because of the technical difficulties in the website and to make the way the penalties work clearer.

That being said, I'm sure it won't stop Republicans from somehow claiming this as a victory.

Actually, the game ended 8 moves ago, but we let you play on after we took your king.

This seems to indicate that problems with the web site are bigger than they're letting on.

The Democrats and Republicans have failed the American People.  A single payer system was our only shot.  This is a big business giveaway run buy a bureaucracy full of idiots.

There is nothing "affordable" about the plans offered, ad now these premiums are backed up by police force.  I have never been more ashamed of our elected officials.

They won't be claiming it as a victory, but they'll be howling to the moon about how the President is illegally preventing the enactment of the law, despite repeated "pleading" by the Republicans and the American people (the real ones) that the individual mandate needed to be delayed.

one of these things were a tangible problem that could be dealt with.

This clearly means the bill is a complete failure so it should be scrapped and we should do nothing to reform our amazing healthcare system and such as the tort reform.

The hyperbole in the headline is what conservatives actually believe.

of course, when it's all still here a year from now, what with the mind of a third grader they'll be going on about SQUIRREL

That means that anyone who signs up on the Federal exchange website will receive a $500,000 stipend. I, however, will be ineligible because I am a resident of a state that has implemented an exchange so well that few residents have experienced any problems. Thanks, Obama.

My game play on GTA online has been quite flawless the last week (aside from the occasional person with a shiatty connection teleporting like crazy).

While I agree in part, this is still better than what we previously had.

I, for instance, no longer have to worry about dying if I end up unemployed for a few months.

Meh, I blame all the Republican Governors out there that didn't take fed money to expand medicaid and leaving tons of people not covered. ACA wasn't a fix for a lot stuff it helps with a lot of the problems but one day soon I hope it really gets fixed.

They'll get the website working eventually. They don't know when but eventually, what's the problem?

Websites are hard to build with limited funds and like barely a couple years time.

Really?  Care to share the long list of Democrats that are blaming GOP-holes for the technical difficulties?  Only counts if there are actual quotes published in news sources.  Fox is not a news source.

Yeah that's really what the country needs at this time, add millions of working poor to the ranks of our working poor. Should work as well as it did in 1986

I gotta admit, the federal government did fark this up badly.  Was listening to NPR and they said that there were 55 separate contractors that were involved in developing the website, and not one of them were in charge.

As a programmer, building a product with just 1 other third-party can be a headache.  55?  That's a goddamn aneurysm followed by a massive stroke, a heart attack, and then your head exploding.
