Why is this "Stupid"?  No one really knows how computer programs work.  They could have injected additional ones and zeroes into the blast processor.  Jones is definitely on to something here.

How is the through the looking glass? Sounds like standard info wars fare.

God

Basically they've used those patriotic truckers to clog up the tubes.

2013-10-23 04:12:47 PM
Uh, wasn't there a planned effort from right wingers to "overload" the call centers with questions so it would look bad?

Yes, I realize this is different than hacking computer code, but I'm not willing to click on an infowars link and would rather talk about something that was actually attempted.

Mike_LowELL: They could have injected additional ones and zeroes into the blast processor. Jones is definitely on to something here.

They used 4's and 5's. TOTALLY screwed everything up.

/TDS hat tip...

2013-10-23 04:22:16 PM
Based on the Alex Jones accusation I would call that a confirmation that the republicans are in fact doing that

Has Alex Jones ever been right about anything? Ever?

I mean by pure chance he should have gotten something right by now... maybe this is it?

What's funny is that every single thing he says is based around the idea of a false flag.  Every single thing that happens is really being done by the people who are against it according to him.

I'm not convinced yet. How much thermite is involved?

Prior to 9/11, Alex Jones predicted something bad was going to happen in the future.

AND IT DID.

How much more do you want?!?!?

2013-10-23 04:30:14 PM
Well, the internet is a series of tubes and they got Joe the Plumber on their side.

That's NOT how it works.  It's a series of tubes.

Magnets, computers, the female reproductive system -- You can't explain those.

Explain that one, Alex Jones.

Because I sure can't.

I don't see any reason the GOP WOULDN'T mount an attack on healthcare.gov, except that they think the internet is a series of tubes.

Why do we keep greening Infowars links recently? The lulz?

Typical conspiracy theory debunker. Just throws out the term "nut job" and he's done with it.

2013-10-23 04:42:20 PM
So isn't this story itself a false flag to detract attention from conservatives actually wanting to do this?

Because people click on the links and comment in the threads.

*That* wouldn't surprise me.  As soon as they announced this web site I expected it to be #1 on the Anonybagger DOS list.

If it is getting maliciously slammed, the resulting investigation will take some time before they ever found out who was doing it...*if* they found out.  I wouldn't doubt the log data showing some interesting information though (in the data mining sense).

This means that Alex Jones himself is a false flag operation, a liberal plant to make conservatives look bad.

But surely conservatives would be opposed to liberal false flag operations; that means that he's really a conservative false flag operation! But if he's still out there talking crazy, then his craziness really a liberal plant...and then...

Stunning conclusion: Alex Jones is the World Turtle.

Because instead of being the nutball conspiracy believers, they're deriding them.

Well,  technically it could be considered a ddos by legislation.  Considering how many red states refused to create their own exchanges,  thus putting more stress on the federal systems,  5x the certified usage to be precise.  Fo some reason California did not have these issues.  We built our own.

Is there one person in the world at this point who sincerely believes republicans are capable of hacking a web site without injuring themselves in the attempt?

Oh boys, this reminds me of the one time I tried to explain variations in variances in performances between pieces of hardware with the exact same (factory) specs in computer labs (that is the condition of hardware starts to affect performance and after a while certain computers end up developing a "personality" essentially, even with proper maintenance- think about the Tachikoma that Batou used to give natural oil to in Stand Alone Complex). Not at all the Poe's Lawlzy "point" you're making there but I ended up articulating mine to sound like yours.

This seems hugely unnecessary since the 0bummer can just control the sheeple's minds thanks to chemtrails and the people who have taken the necessary precautions (e.g., spraying vinegar at clouds) will be warned in advance by Alex Jones.

That's not universally understood? I mean, I don't know the mechanisms behind it, but I do know any piece of technology will, over time, develop its own set of glitches--that's why a lot of writers name our technology or anthromorphosize it.

/Although, in Stand Alone Complex, I'm pretty sure tech was  actually sentient to some degree.
