When God topples a boulder, he opens a door. Or something.

It was sort of a douchbag thing to do but honestly it's not like the rock cares where it is.

Bring us some fresh boulders! The freshest you've got - this year! No more of this 200-million-year-old stuff.

Interesting that they chose a picture of the dinosaur museum in Fukui, Japan.  I used to live there.  One of my students was a paleontologist who worked there.

A couple of the dinosaurs I've worked on are there now.

This discovery is pretty cool because Andy (Dr. Farke) has the high school students that worked on the skeleton as coauthors. Not many high school students have peer reviewed publications.

You should come to Utah, With a little legwork (Ok, a lot of legwork)...you find dino fossils all over southern/eastern utah. in a former life as a geology major i was told we can't remove them without violating several federal Laws.

"Sort of douchebag"? Wow.

That's OK, the dude is doubly-farked. Just last month he filed a "disability" claim against some poor girl who hit his car in '09.

I'd say karma came a-knockin'.

No one's calling for life in prison. But the dude defaced a national monument just as sure as if he'd spray painted it.
