Even if it had, cooling towers aren't reactors.

Or near the reactors.

Or in the radioactive loop.

Well, hello there. Looks like you found me. I'm Ivan Isotope! I'm hiding from the effects of Alpha Radiation! Unlike Gamma which passes through all objects, you can block alpha radiation by placing a large dense object between you and the blast. But don't use just any large, dense object, my wife wouldn't like that. Hahahahaha!

So we'll march day and night
By the big cooling tower
They have the plant
But we have the power

You haven't had a thrill ride until you've ridden the Chernobylcoaster.

That's Six Flags over Texas. I haven't been on that version, but they've had the old fashioned "Chairs on Chains" thing for a long time.

They also have the most vomit inducing ride I've ever been on.

It's like a roller coaster but the cars spin in a circle while it's going down the track. It's brutal. Then when the ride is over the cars keep maniacally spinning while you wait to unload. It's a first class one way ticket to Barfsville.

+internets on the funny, but you can block alpha radiation with a sheet of paper... or an inch or two of air.  He must be hiding from beta. ;)

So where do they get the power for all of the lights and rides?
