Relax, as bad as this sounds, it couldn't possibly get wo---

As the two typhoons approached Honshu, concerns were mounting over the crippled Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant. Tokyo Electric Power Co. drew fire Sunday for failing to prevent rainwater brought by Wipha from overflowing concrete walls enclosing tanks containing radioactive water. At one monitoring point, the spilled rainwater was found to contain strontium-90 at a level of 710 becquerels per liter, 71 times higher than Tepco's self-imposed limit.

So two colliding typhoons are about to hit a nuclear plant crippled by the strongest earthquake ever recorded in Japan, flooded by one of its worst tsunamis, and just last week flooded by another typhoon. Christ Japan, who did you piss off?

Mother nature, but then we all pissed her off, it's just Japan seems to be selected as the first casualty of Global Climate Change. Well them and Australia with that whole mega-inferno thing they got going that looks like it is going to burn down Sydney.

The East Asian Co-prosperity Sphere comes to mind.

So does Nanking.

Well, they did have a movie about a tornado that hit a damaged nuke plant. Forget the name of that thing.

Here's hoping my friends in Tokyo (and the rest of Japan,) dodge a bullet here. I suppose there's one somewhat up-side to being back in the states, but I still worry about the rest of the gang.
