(CNBC)   Job creation came to a screeching halt in September. Gee, wonder what happened in October that could kill jobs?   ( divider line

I dunno. My wondrously double talking Governor, Scott Walker, says that those public workers are a drain on society and should go find public sector obs because they are 100 times better and don't really count towards unemployment.

Unless they make those filthy Dems look bad, then it totally is legitimate unemployment.

/I assume the private sector has ways to block legitimate job loss.

The death of Walter White also removed a business from the economy that was big enough to be listed on the NASDAQ.

The Job Creating Small Businessheroes were so enamored by Ted Cruz's 21-Hours-of-Freedom they fired their entire staffs and sent all their money to Cruz's Spicy Cuban Maple Syrup startup?

Gee, wonder what happened in October that could kill jobs?

Obamacare launched?

It sure wasn't that 17%-of-the-government "shutdown." Most folks didn't even notice it.

Mad_Radhu: big enough to be listed on the NASDAQ.

I'm still on season 4, so thanks for the spoiler alert.

People were too busy watching Obama theater to look for jobs that don't exist?

September saw the U.S. economy add just 148,000 jobs, significantly worse than expected, [...]
The unemployment rate unexpectedly fell to 7.2 percent, the lowest since November 2008, as the labor-force participation rate held near 35-year lows

So with the participation rate holding constant, they expected more jobs AND higher unemployment?

Look, I guess I have to explain this AGAIN...

Companies with healthcare have contracts that come up on a yearly basis. It's called 'Open Enrollment'. Part of the contract is that every January, or February, or March, etc..., insurance renews, and people have to either sign up or decline.

The reason that I told you that is to tell you this, subby:

We had 9 MONTHS before October. That's 9 months of health care contracts that went into effect to be compliant with the ACA, they don't get to sign for 3 months and then sign a new contract. 3/4 of you out there have had your company being compliant with ACA for months now.
