The largest blaze has a 190-mile front

"We are worried these [three] fires have the potential to join up and become a mega-fire," New South Wales Fire Inspector Andrew Luke told NBC News.

So... what the fark do you call a fire with a 190-mile front? A small blaze? I realize this is Australia, but still.

Slaves2Darkness: Global Climate Change says maybe you should not be living in Austria.

The newly elected Australian prime minister is of the opinion that 'global warming is crap'. One of the first things he did when he took office was to dismantle any government committees that had been set up to look at ways to counter climate change.

I live 6km (3.75 miles) from one the biggest fires.

I've been wanting to leave Austria and go back to England for years now, but I have several elderly relatives here who depend on me.

There's nothing wrong with Austria if you're suited to it, but I just don't feel like I belong here. And it's too farking hot - even in winter.

An 11-year-old boy was among the arrests and has since been charged with "two counts of intentionally [causing a] fire and be reckless as to its spread," the New South Wales Rural Fire Service said.

Another clueless labor/greens voter... Sigh.

The climate change department was merged with another department that deals with the Environment. As it should have been in the first place.

The government's position is that climate change exists and should be dealt with through incentive, not punishment.

Get your facts straight before you mouth off.

Maybe you should get your manners straight before you mouth off. Normally I wouldn't respond to an ill mannered response like yours but I'm not letting you get away with this pile of aggressive misinformation and half truths.

I will post cites to back up my claims when I have more time after work. Unlike you I will not need to resort to personal insults or aggression.

Charmed, I'm sure.

Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abbott has abolished the Climate Change Commission including Tim Flannery, internationally renowned climate change author and scientist.  Mr Abbott, who once called scientific evidence of climate change as "absolute crap" removed the environmental agency on two days after he was officially sworn in as Prime Minister of Australia.

From here: http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/507616/20130920/tony-abbott-climate-ch a nge-australia-tim-flannery.htm#.Umdn2hDIATs

The Coalition's so-called Direct Action policy has always been a farce and a policy fig leaf to cover Tony Abbott's belief that climate change science is, as he once described it, "crap" - a view shared by the hand-picked chair of his new Business Advisory Council, Maurice Newman, who recently declared that "anthropological" (as he described it) climate change was a "myth".

From here: http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/sep/26/climate-commissi o n-abbott

What a to-do list: sack econocrats guilty of having worked with the enemy, pass an edict against climate change and discourage all discussion of it, stop publicising boat arrivals, build more motorways, move to a cut-price national broadband network and take science for granted.

So where are your sources Iplaybass? Alan Jones radio show perhaps?
