haven't read TFA but here is mine:

take mini hotdogs, wrap them in bacon and stick a toothpick or skewer through to keep it all together, deep fry, then put them on a cookie sheet, sprinkle with brown sugar and drizzle with syrup, stick in the oven to caramelize it all together

Haven't read TFA either, but I'm gonna throw my grandmother's World's Best Evar Turkey Stuffing Recipe into the mix.  Warning: may cause coronary artery blockage by reading.

And to keep with the theme, this includes bacon as well.

1 lb. bacon
1 large yellow onion, chopped
1-2 celery stalks, sliced thinly (aim for equivalent amounts of onion and celery)
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1 14 oz. bag of Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Stuffing Mix
1 egg
salt (to taste)

Chop up and cook the bacon in a large skillet.  Get it into nice crumbles.  Remove bacon from pan, let drain.  Saute the onion, celery, garlic, and Oxford comma in the bacon drippings until soft.  While this is cooking, prepare the stuffing mix (IIRC it just means boiling some water and pouring it with the mix into a large bowl).  Add bacon crumbles to the bowl, then pour the entire contents of the skillet (bacon drippings and all) into the mixing bowl.  Add an egg, and mix thoroughly.  Add salt if necessary to taste.  Allow to cool until workable, then stuff that bird.  Any stuffing that doesn't fit in the abdominal and neck cavities should be dolloped liberally into the bottom of the roaster.

I read that headline as "filthy" holiday recipes.

While bacon wrapped asparagus is excellent, asparagus is a spring vegetable.  Thanksgiving is a fall harvest festival....

and who the hell thought infusing SCOTCH with BACON was a good idea?  I can see maybe combining them in a sauce of some sort, but for drinking?!?!?
