Saw the picture first, in two seconds thought "Those British guys caught a big fish," then the article confirmed it.

"He told his wife that he could feel in his bones that he was going to catch a special fish that day,"

and every other day he went fishing.

Is there a reason the "anglers" needed to be shirtless...waist-deep in mucky water...and have bizarre expressions on their faces for their picture?

Looks like the one on the left is relieving himself and the one on the right is passing out from the Natty Light he's been drinking...

The biggest problem is that carp sucks to eat. Ridiculous numbers of bones, and the meat isn't anything spectacular.

Of course it sucks. That's how bottom feeders eat.

/They make great fertilizer, though.

An animal trainer took a school of carp and put them in a swimming pool, and then taught the carp to take and pass his wallet from one to the other across the swimming pool from one pool wall to the other pool wall.  This famous trick became known as carp to carp walleting....

... fake article. 'Cause Alabama is the world leader in shirtless fat guys in mucky water trying to land 100lb bottom feeders. Everyone knows that!

210 pound Carp

Catch and release.

2013-10-21 01:29:33 PM
The monster fish, which weighs 134 pounds and 7 ounces, reportedly took 25 minutes to reel in.

The fact that these guys LANDED that fish is what astounds me.  Would love to know exactly what kind of equipment they were working with out there - I doubt they were expecting to catch something THAT SIZE.

(Vague sexual puns were not intended.)

Now excuse me while I go wallow in my fisherbabe jealousy.

Guy on the right is like "Oh...God...the smell...this is worse than being in bed with your wife!"
