In the old days, this wouldn't matter. All someone would have to do is press that button with the falling pin down and he would get a reset.

New technology. Costing lives every day.

/Plus he could have pressed the cocktail button and had a nice refreshing beverage while he was reset

When I was young, a friend of my family (Korean war veteran, survivor at the Frozen Chosin) had a guy challenge him to a fight at our local bowling alley, while he was putting his gear away. As the guy was threatening him, he just stood quietly holding his bowling ball. When the guy stepped forward, he dropped it. On the guy's foot. End of "fight".
