I'd like to thank the jackasses at FOX for deciding we in New Orleans should be subjected to the Cowboys at the Eagles rather than two of the Saints' division rivals going head-to-head in a battle over last place during the bye week. That's some great thinking.

My question is WHY is Miami getting 7.5 at home against the Bills? They have only lost by 7 points or more twice this year, once when Jeff Tuel had to play a half at QB. I'd pick them to cover all day.

Today the Steelers have a chance to redeem their season and get back into the race by beating the hated Ratbirds. Anything can happen, and in these rivalry games they usually do.

Its up to your local station not Fox at large. Id rather watch Rams and Panthers than Bucs vs Failcons though. The Panthers are the only team with any chance to challenge the saints in the division. Bucs and Falcons is like watching Giants vs Vikings. Good for a laugh but otherwise who cares?

I think the interesting games today are Cowboys Eagles, SF vs Titans, Native Americanapolis vs the Denver Peytons, and possibly Jest vs Pats

In the news...

The Cowboys will be $31 million over the salary cap next year. It's do or die time, because next year is going to be 4-12.

The only thing Brandon Weeden could do this week that could possibly be anymore embarrassing than last week's underhand lob pass to the sideline for an interception would be to somehow throw a pass and hit himself in the face.

Don't for a  second think he can't, either.

I'm just hoping that Case Keenum doesn't get snapped in half like a 7 day old breadstick out there. I know we needed a replacement for Schaub but yeesh. May as well throw him into a bear pit wearing a filet minon necklace.

That is great news especially since the skins will be about 30 million under IIRC.

Probably the same people who set the Bears (4-2) at Maryland (1-4) line at -1.5.  That's just as incomprehensible to me.

Considering who the likely Bills starting QB will be this game, 7.5 might be low.

Only the Sunday early games.  Then after those, the Sunday afternoon games get calibrated, then the SNF game.
