So, do I dare start Gronk? And should I still keep another TE on the roster just in case?

ARodg v. CLE or Bobby Three-Sticks v. CHI? Rodgers has no receivers, which makes me leery.

Unless your backup is Cameron or J. Thomas you roll with him

Hard to bench Rodgers but the RGIII matchup should be a shootout.

That's my thinking. Rodgers will probably win his game, but RG3 could put up more points.

I have to deal with Newton/Romo this season on my one team that is performing decently.  Romo this week, not that I don't like Newton too.

Per the advice of Yahoo Fantasy Advisors (yeah, I know....I know), I dumped Brandon Jacobs this week and added his replacement, Michael Cox.

I'm screwed, aren't I?

First time this year I'm gonna have to ask a question for multiple leagues. Feel free to answer one or all of them:

1. Rueben Randle or Justin Blackmon (questionable?) for WR2 spot?
2. Joique Bell or Jason Snelling for RB2 spot?
3. Eddie Royal, Harry Douglas, or Coby Fleener for Flex spot?

2013-10-20 11:20:29 AM
I'm about to start Keenan Allen over Andre Johnson at WR3 today...tell me this isn't nuts.

1. Blackmon if he's going
2. All things equal, Bell, but health may make me lean Snelling
3. Harry Douglas, though Fleener could be huge (I'm hard pressed to trust him though)

Holy smokes - are you in a 20 team league? Not great choices there, but i guess I'd go:
blackmon, bell, douglas

I don't have Andre the Giant, but I too am starting Allen. Bye week necessity

We play in NFL.com's league.  Andre is Sit Of The Week.  The guy on ESPN just said he's not as high on Allen as one might be considering his last two weeks.  Said he's seen lousy players string together two good fantasy weeks.

Hope that helps lol!

that's the problem - Fleener has been maddeningly inconsistent....

It's not. In the one league where I have an option (not a great one due to health) I have Shorts in over him as long as he goes.  Allen is safe since the QB issues with the Texans and the fact that KC has a damn good D.

That is kind of funny.  The thing is, he's a rook so maybe he's just coming out of his 'shell' so to speak.  *fingers crossed*

Pick-six trifecta in KC this afternoon?

Jimmy Graham injured/on bye.

Do I start Jared Cook or Tim Wright?

The Bell/Snelling league is 14 teams, and I didn't draft well at that position (Daryl Richardson and David Wilson are off my roster by now and Matt Forte is last starting RB standing). Thanks to you and Nefarious for the advice.

bjmichel: Jimmy Graham injured/on bye.

Do I start Jared Cook or Tim Wright?

Cook is Sit Of the Week for TE on NFL.com

Sit of the week

: Cook scored an impressive 24.10 fantasy points in Week 1. Since then, he has scored a combined 17 points -- that's an average of just 3.4 per game. His fortunes aren't likely to improve very much against the Panthers, who have allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to tight ends at home in 2013. (Maximum value: Mid TE2)

I like Cook, but he hasn't been productive since like week 3.

Danny Woodhead, Ryan Mathews, or Le'Veon Bell for RB2?

ObeliskToucher: Pick-six trifecta in KC this afternoon?

I'm starting Chiefs D in 2 leagues, so I'm hoping so. I'm trying to avoid all Texans players for now until Case Keenum shows he can move the ball better than Schaubception.

If it helps, I'm benching Johnson in favor of Eric Decker, Desean Jackson, and Harry Douglas. That last one has me worried though.

Wendy's Chili: Danny Woodhead, Ryan Mathews, or Le'Veon Bell for RB2?

Woodhead.

2013-10-20 11:38:53 AM
Decided to go with Wright at TE. Now for RB (pick 2): Spiller, Joique Bell, Lamar Miller, Montee Ball (why haven't I cut him yet?)

Always start players going against the Jaguars; I'm probably in the minority here, but I have faith in Woodhead to do better than Mathews today.

Emmanuel Sanders or Jacoby Jones?  Yes, my team sucks.

Sanders
The Spiller/Miller combo (btw, if you don't need to free up a roster spot, you don't need to give up on Ball just yet, Moreno does have an injury history. I feel kind of ashamed to say that I still have Andre Brown on one roster...)

I'd go Cook but I'd understand why he'd be a concern

Wendy's Chili: Danny Woodhead, Ryan Mathews, or Le'Veon Bell for RB2?

PPR: Woodhead (This could be a game where SD gets ahead and goes to Mathews to run out the clock)
STD: Bell

bjmichel: Decided to go with Wright at TE. Now for RB (pick 2): Spiller, Joique Bell, Lamar Miller, Montee Ball (why haven't I cut him yet?)

Spiller, just because he's getting healthy and if he goes off you'll kick yourself.  I'd list Miller as the #2 option there since Bell's health is in question.

flip a coin.  Heads Luck, Tails Foles.  Both matchups are great.  Coin flip indicates Luck.

While both have the potential to get into shootouts, Foles has McCoy while Luck has a struggling Trent Richardson/Donald Brown combo. I'd go Luck.

2013-10-20 11:58:08 AM
I am sitting Vincent Jackson. In favor of Cruz/Josh Gordon. This sucks because they all have great match ups.

Other than the new qb in TB always throwing to Jackson and Mike Williams being banged up, is there any other things I should consider before not playing Jackson? Cruz is so "feast or famine"... I don't want him to screw me over.....AGAIN

2013-10-20 11:58:13 AM
In a ppr, going up against league leader and its a must win.

1) keep alshon Jeffrey and andre Johnson benched in favor of josh Gordon, Justin Blackmon and dez Bryant?

2) Doug Martin and Trent Richardson are currently in at running back. I could, tho, sub in Stevan Ridley, or pick up Brandon Jacobs, Jason Snelling or jacquizz Rogers, all of whom are somehow available--and if I do the pickup, who the hell do I drop? Could get rid of andre Ellington, but I think he's a week away from taking the starting job

GO BILLS!

1) yes!
2) stay w/ the two you have

I'm thinking about swapping out Andre Johnson but my only options for the WR/TE slot are Charles Clay or Garrett Graham .  Should I leave well enough alone?  I have a lot of apprehensions about this new QB in Houston and am afraid it'll fark up Johnson's day.

1. Yes but Jeffery could go big too.  I'd start the 3 you selected
2. You could dump Ellington (assuming you can drop players after they played) I'd stay away from Jacobs.  Rodgers is intriguing but unless it's a PPR I think you need to stand pat.

I'd go Luck, but something to keep in mind. When Foles faced Monte Kiffen's defense in college, he torched it.

While I don't like Johnson this week, I think it's hard to bench him for a middling TE.

Eli Manning versus the leaky Minnesota defense or Tom Brady against the Jets?
I am leaning towards Eli and here's why.
Manning looked alright except for the picks against the veteran Bear secondary last week, and Brady had trouble with the Jets the first time they played. Brady gets back Gronkowski but the Minnesota defensive backs are banged up--and they weren't too good when they were healthy. And the Giants running backs are either hurt or unreliable, so they'll probably pass most of time.

Oh, so question of my own.
Foles or Kaepernick?
Leaning to Foles.

Johnson has an undrafted rookie throwing to him. Thats making me steer clear.

Foles, Kaepernick has been very inconsistent and the Titan's D has been solid this season.

I've got Boncos and Colts to choose from for my Defense?

Which Equine based team should I play?

2013-10-20 12:17:23 PM
And now a trade question. Obviously this could not go through until next week, because Lynch played on Thursday.

The proposed trade - I receive Marshawn Lynch and RGIII for Jimmy Graham and Tony Romo.

My current roster:
QB - Romo, Cutler
RB - Spiller, Joique Bell, Lamar Miller, Montee Ball
WR - Andre Johnson, Jordy Nelson, Mike Williams, Austin Pettis
TE - Graham, Jared Cook, Tim Wright

Thoughts?
