I somehow put my insurance on this game. I'm not sure if it was a mistake or my unconsciousness knows something.

Nope. When they show up, they look like champions. But they don't always deign to show up.

I'm sort of wishing I had. I think City will get one more to break me.

If he eats Aguero, does it mean he is ours to keep then?

That was one of the first matches I ever watched. I snicker every time I read that name, as toto is slang for coont, at least in the DR.

I think it might be a bit moist at Villa Park. Just slightly.

Yeh. With Arsenal in that mood Byrn Munich would of had trouble. Still any points we pick up at the Emerites, Stamford Bride, Old Trafford etc are a bonus and not to be expected.

/just watching the Villa/Spurs game makes me want to get under an umbrella

Norwich played well and was dangerous most of the game. It stayed close until the last 20 minutes and they never stopped threatening--the Canaries have nothing to be ashamed of. I was worried going into the game.

I love wet matches.

I think I put a 1-2 pred for this game. Seriously hope Spurs doesn't fail here, I think I banked on them.

Yeah, yellow deserved there. And his fourth already, geez.

I could use a Luna brace and clean sheet for fantasy footy purposes

I was thinking of compiling a checklist of things Moyes does wrong most games. Then I thought about the things he does well, things that I like about him. I liked him at Everton, he seemed quite honest and dependable and he did a really good job. I wasn't entirely for his appointment, but United didn't have many options. Mourinho is the antithesis of everything United stands for. Pep (sensibly) chose Bayern, why would Klopp leave Dortmund for United, De Boer will probably only leave Ajax for Barca. I can't really think of anyone else I'd have wanted.

So there were certain elements of Moyes that made sense. Now, I'm trying to think of things he's done so far that make me like or admire him. Nothing.

I'll give him time, but only because I'll give anyone time.

I think all the coaches you mentioned would have trouble with that talent. If nothing else, Fergie deserves extra credit for the magic act he pulled off last season

Solskjaer, obviously. That goes without saying. But he needs another couple of years in Norway, and another few years of over-achievement with another club.

Changing managers after spending so long with the same man is bound to cause a drop in form. The players all knew what Fergie wanted out of them. It'll take time to get used to Moyes' demands.

Every time I see his name, I remember that 1999 CL final. Easily the most exciting moment I have ever seen in football. Gives me goosebumps just remembering it.

I actually disagree about the talent, but aside from that, those other coaches wouldn't sideline Kagawa/Zaha, make such negative substitutions, be so tactically inflexible, be so in awe of Rooney, etc.

What you want to do in that instance is promote from within. Take the most promising-looking subsidiary coach on the staff, or the manager's right-hand man, and hand them the reins. It won't be the big splashy name, obviously, but it provides some amount of continuity.

Not too bad if he's able to play well on a yellow and manages to break up play from Tottenham, But it makes you feel nervous, definitely.
