Chariset: Absolutely.  The world needs a list of every single person moronic enough to admit to having been 'harmed' by homosexuality.

I hope they list their grievances too.

A bunch of anti-gay preachers and politicians have lost their jobs over it.

Remember folks, the Tea Party is just about economics and jobs, it has nothing to do with hating the queers and the coloreds and the libtards.

Maybe they can serve their special friends over there in the Log Cabin, who will, in turn, serve the rest of the homosexual community.

Then, when that's done, they'll deliver them some legal documents regarding the lawsuit.

Since God works in mysterious ways by not stopping them from having so much gay sex they NEED the government to stop it!

The place these people want to live is clearly not America with its equal rights, enshrined liberties, and all that liberal horse crap.

There are other places ... where a man is free to chart his own destiny unhindered by government and taxation:

A tea party leader and former Baptist pastor - who believes that AIDS is God's judgement against LGBT people

Lesbians have a lower incidence of AIDS than other groups. Does this mean that God likes girl on girl?

I thought there was just a story about how Teatards understood science as well as the general population.  I'm sure not seeing it here.

One more example of how the Tea Party really doesn't understand how the government anything works.

2013-10-18 02:05:15 PM
At a Tea Party Unity Event on Thursday, LGBT activist Peter LaBarbera told group Chairman Rick Scarborough that Fox News should be pushed to cover "these wonderful stories of happy men and women who have left the homosexual lifestyle" like they covered African-American conservatives.

TuteTibiImperes: Holy heck, this is an actual quote:

FTA:  "Yeah I think that's great," LaBarbera agreed. "I would love to see it. We always wanted to see one of the kid in high school who was counseled by the official school counselor to just be gay, then he comes down with HIV. But we never really got the client for that."

They're actually hoping for a kid to get AIDS to help them more effectively spread their hate.

And Jesus wept.

These people are seriously unwell.

Ignorance and bigotry pretending to be morality.

Chariset: Absolutely.  The world needs a list of every single person moronic enough to admit to having been 'harmed' by homosexuality.

The example they gave at the end of the article was, suing your school counselor who encouraged you to come out and be gay for your later problems such as HIV.

So a double class action by all gays who don't want to be gay, and those that encouraged them to be so?

2013-10-18 02:06:31 PM
Their sense of moral outrage is absolutely throbbing. You can see the thick, meaty veins in their necks standing out from here. It's something. Loss make them quit? No sir, they are taking lemons and making lemonade. They are a lemonade party. If they can't push their way through the tight obstructions of the democratic... Ass? Donkey?... they will reach around until they have their fist on the prize they desperately crave, spreading their seed of freedom on the pages of history.

miss diminutive: A tea party leader and former Baptist pastor - who believes that AIDS is God's judgement against LGBT people - this week proposed filing a class action lawsuit against "homosexuality".

This is just weapons grade stupid.

First off, if God did send AIDS as a punishment against homosexuals, why aren't heterosexuals immune? If he did sent it to punish gays, then why do lesbians have significantly fewer cases of HIV? How does one prosecute a sexual orientation? If this man is actually a leader of the Tea Party, is it possible said party is populated by dimwitted, ignorant buffoons who have no grasp on reality and hide behind a veneer of fiscal reform to hide their bigoted and hateful core?

I'd like to see that. A guy gets peer pressured into holding another guy's hand, then kissing him, things escalate, and twenty years later they've had a commitment ceremony and adopted a couple of kids, but one guy's not really gay.

I'm sure there are a lot of those.

It was my junior year of high school and I was unsure if I wanted to study physic, go into engineering or just be premed like everyone else.  I was talking to mt guidance counselor and she commented that she had seen me the previous week walking with my new girl friend.  Sort of sheepishly she handed me a brochure and apologized by saying we're required by federal law to had these out.  I didn't know what she was talking about until I read the brochure - Be the Gay: a beginners guide.

I would not be surprised if, in some Republican "think" tank somewhere, the idea of becoming the "anti-gay" party was their best idea for minority outreach.

"Hey--some blacks and Latinos hate gay people-- this is a way to get them to vote for us so we can screw them all!!!"

How the Hell do you even DO this?

The former Baptist pastor opined that "homosexuality much more likely leads to AIDS than smoking leads to cancer.

Actually he claimed that the CDC had "shown" this, although I'm not sure how THAT works, since something as simple as condom use would skew the FARK out of those supposed numbers.

We always wanted to see one of the kid in high school who was counseled by the official school counselor to just be gay, then he comes down with HIV.

Wow... Just wow. That's some real Christian thinking right there.

Speaking of Christian thinking, I bet they'd be able to find more than a few instances of something just like this if they looked at the Catholic Church instead of at the "evil" public school system.

nekom: The hate is thinly veiled, if veiled at all.  That's why they're fighting a losing battle.  Look at some of those photos in California and other places of gay couples so happy that they can marry.  Opposing that is like saying "I don't want other people who don't live by my personal beliefs to be happy, in fact I want to make them miserable."  That message just doesn't sell outside of teatard circles.

Growing up in the Chicago burbs, then at a Big Ten school (Go Illini), then in Chicago, I was friends with a decent amount of gay people so I learned early on they're just people like everyone else and to be supportive of equality. But then I moved to San Francisco for a few years, and it was just a different level. Previously, it was mostly gays my age that were just figuring shiat out, but in SF, I met gay and lesbian couples of all ages and backgrounds, some of whom had been in partnerships for decades, some who had families together. Some who were kicked out of the military (one was an Arabic translator, like we need those), some who met in support groups for married men that realized they were gay (both had kids who are still totally in their lives). While there were some jackasses (like in every demographic), the majority were wonderful people I was grateful to call friends and co-workers. I just cannot fathom why anyone would want to deny them the happiness straight people take for granted. I was just at a lesbian wedding this summer, and you cannot tell me there was any less love that day than in any of the other weddings I've been to. It's nothing less than insanity.

TL;DR - Fark these people. Goddamn bigots need to shut their mouths and disappear into the trash bin of history where they belong.
