THAT'S the scandal

Maybe today would be a good day to get drunk and call into the local AM radio station to rail about how Obama reopened every memorial except the Benghazi memorial.

I'm shocked that the "the shutdown was just a liberal plot to distract from Benghazi" stories haven't made an appearance.

Ahhh, back to normal levels of insanity.

I won't rest until there's a resolution to Umbrellagate.  Back when I was in the Core, President Reagan didn't make us hold an umbrella.  He deflected the rain through the power of his sunny disposition.

Nope, but knock yourselves out.

How many US embassies were attacked during GW's term and how many Americans died in those attacks again?

As they wrap up their 13-month never ending probe into the terrorist attacks in Benghazi that killed four Americans...

Holy cow, they've been reduced to focusing on a meeting that took place before the attacks and a press release regarding that meeting?  You have got to be farking kidding me.

Staffers with the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations told Fox News they have reached the preliminary conclusion - as the Obama administration has long maintained - that no military rescue or remedy was feasible on the night of September 11, 2012

Glad it took 13 months to figure out that, yup, the administration was telling the truth.

Seriously.  I hate that my tax dollars are going to pay his salary, along with Bachmann, Gohmert, and Cruz.  Honestly, I'm MORE ok with my taxes going to support NSA spying than paying those clownshoes.

Yeah, it rings some bells.  IIRC, weren't the marines at the gate unarmed at the time and unable to respond?  Can you imagine the response if the same thing happened under Obama?  But apparently under Reagan, the Republicans were totally cool with it.

It's good to see the party that constantly says it ignores "government waste" is wasting so much governmental resources on this political investigation.

I mean, honestly, aside from keeping Benghazi a talking point in the right wing media outlets, what is this accomplishing?  What are they hoping to uncover?

If they're trying to show that religious fundamentalist nutjobs are bad, and sometimes commit murder in the name of their religion - well, I think that's been pretty well-established.

I honestly think that the right wing noise machine has gotten so bad in this country that there needs to be a very concerted effort to completely undermine and eliminate it.  Seriously - this country would benefit a lot from an rational conservative opposition party, but the noise machine is turned it into a sideshow party of morons.  And I'm all for holding government officials accountable for actual wrongdoing, but the right wing noise machine doesn't care about that.  They just want to be able to scream "OBAMA SCANDAL!" over and over again, until it becomes true in the minds of their listeners. And the scariest thing about the noise machine is that its listeners buy this bullshiat, even though deep down they know better.   The high-octane bullshiat being spewed from conservative media outlets is damaging not only because it is ignorant, lazy, and unethical, but also because it distracts the attention of a big chunk of the population from issues that are actually important.

NO! We have a new normal. The TEA party has changed the background noise and we have yet to hit the crescendo. Expect the insanity to hit a fevered pitch that will make your dog cringe. 2016 will make the last election seem sane. I'm talking about dogs and cats living together!

Didn't Reagan let an entire Marine barracks get blow up on his watch after several arm service members on the ground stated the site was not very safe?

\Then we just called it a day and left Lebanon in victory.

According to my conservative friends that was the fault of liberals not allowing the marines to have their guns locked and ready...

Actually just about everything is the fault of liberals according to them, It is very exhausting.
