MoveOn.org  the Comedy Central of politics.

I was sold until that part about the Paleo diet.

But Cruz and Co. in PMITA penitentiary ... that is a worthwhile goal.

No, not yet. I really, reeeeeeeaaaalllly want Cruz to keep talking, and keep explaining his vision of America. Him and Paul Ryan are the best thing to happen to the Democratic party since ... well, I've only been following politics for about 30 years, so I'll have to go with "ever".

THAT'S CRAZY TALK!

MoveOn: "Let's try Cruz & Co. for sedition. Hanging's too good for 'em!"

Makes perfect sense to me!

Cruz (you cock) is flapping his maw on GMA right now. He never wanted the shutdown, you know. Obama, the big meaniepants, made him. Toddler (and sociopath) thinking at its best.

Or influence, apparently.  Moveon has never had the ability to shut down an entire country.

Well, the MoveOn schmucks are talking about arresting Republican Congressmen. Some internet schmucks are signing this petition, no one who's ever been an elected official except maybe Dennis Kucinich will pay them any mind.

Various members of the Tea Party advocated that we default on our debt because it's "no big deal" and it wasn't just that elected officials agreed with them, some of those various members WERE AND STILL ARE members of Congress.

They are.  they were the people accusing people who didn't support invading Iraq of "providing aid and comfort to the enemy"

This is nothing compared to Teatards every day, and it was just a petition that some guy submitted, probably the guy who wrote TFA.

From TFA: MoveOn volunteers reviewed this petition and determined that it may not reflect MoveOn members' progressive values. MoveOn will not promote the petition beyond hosting it on our site.

It's a good job of trolling teatards though.

So, we expect the same president and Congress who let war criminals slide to care about the law now?

Silly, silly little people, the laws only apply to you.

...and people wonder why American politics is going to hell.

If you fling shiat at the opposing party for thirty years, don't be surprised when they pick it up off the ground and throw it back with a rock in it.

2013-10-18 08:59:01 AM
Moveon.org....you are not helping.

Please let the GOP talk themselves out of any chance in 2016 to retake the white house.  If you keep talking like this, you are going to make people forget how stupid they are.

Your blog sucks.

2013-10-18 09:06:31 AM
So just vote out the Tea Party where possible.

I realize it's simplistic, the deep red districts suck cocks in hell, etc., but surely we can get more than a few bounced next election cycle.

If not replaced with Democrats, then with sane (by a sane person's standard) Republicans.

No no no, it's completely fair to compare anonymous internet commenters that are even being ignored by a fairly lefty group and actual GOP elected Senators and Representatives.

For you see, both sides, they are the same.

No, it is "MoveOn" demanding it in the same sense that Drew Curtis demands the abolition of bacon if someone on this site wrote a comment to that effect.

I don't know, they had this one line throwaway:  "Another reader suggested arresting Moveon.org for their hatred of the military."

I think this is just another conservative leaning idiot who believes everything they read on the information super-highway, until they read the next thing.

Worse because it punishes people who actually deserve it.

How you feel about this pretty much comes down to whether you believe the possibility of breaching the debt limit would help OR hurt America.

DNRTFA (it's an Examiner link, ferchristsake!), so I have no idea how accurate the quote is, if indeed there is a quote, but if my memories of seventh grade are accurate, wasn't the Sedition Act repealed over 200 years ago.

Hey, maybe that's the joke--convict Tea Partiers with post-revolutionary era laws.

2013-10-18 09:19:52 AM

Hey, subby, you know how we get the links from Fox Nation, and you post in the thread going on and on about how Fox Nation is not Fox News, and this totally doesn't have anything to do with Fox News, and it's just an isolated racist, and you're the real racist for pointing it out, and yadda yadda yadda...

Well, this petition is kind of like that.  Except that, in this case, MoveOn has explicitly disclaimed it.

The definition of sedition says among other things that "If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire... by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States... they shall each be fined or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both."

No, it's stupid. You don't bring politicians up on charges for politicking, even if they have the collective IQ of dog poop.
