HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
oh wait, you're serious
etc

claims author Ed Klein.

Ed Klein is an author in the same sense that an asylum inmate writing on the wall in their own feces is.

I'm not saying Ed Klein is a liar, but his previous books belong on the Fantasy Fiction aisle of the Barnes & Noble.

Good for her. She's come a long way since divorcing the guy from Van Halen

You spelled Dan Pfeiffer wrong. I like when an actual news article comes out days before that preemptively refutes a retard.

2013-10-18 09:42:36 AM
I can't imagine what the market for this book would be. It just strikes me that the people who wouldn't immediately dismiss this as total bullshiat probably don't/can't read.

And publishing these things can't just be about making bulk sales to conservative rags to give out for donations, can it?

I think I see what you're getting at.

Obama killed Dumbledore!

Dubbed "The Night Stalker"?

Like Richard Ramirez, the serial killer?

2013-10-18 10:07:25 AM
So the republicans walked into an obvious trap and Obama is the 'Amateur'.

2013-10-18 10:07:44 AM
It was Jarrett who advised Obama that voters would mostly blame Republicans if the federal government ground to a halt, providing a golden opportunity to swing back control of the House to Democrats in the 2014 mid-term elections, according to Klein.

basically this article admits two things: Obama and the dems were just as culpable in the shutdown as the republicans, perhaps even more so.  And they would be given a free pass - even though they were culpable, they would not be blamed.  And the media didn't blame them.

2013-10-18 10:10:14 AM
"It was during one of those nightly sessions that Jarrett devised the no-negotiating strategy that Obama has employed in his fight with the GOP over the government shutdown," Klein said, citing sources within the administration.

Klein continued, "Such sources include Connie Munism, Ken Yan, Benjamin O'ghazi and a variety of other insiders who I'm told aren't actually real people but that just shows you how dangerous this situation is."  "Now, I don't know how deep this conspiracy goes as I haven't heard Rush yet today but it's totes serious," Klein said.  He then declared he would stare directly into the sun in protest until the President admitted his crimes and resigned in disgrace.  Emergency rescue units arrived shortly thereafter to escort a beleaguered Klein to the emergency room for treatment.  As the ambulance raced off, a desperate cry, "Look what you've done to me, Obama!" could be heard from inside.

"Valerie came up with the concept late at night, after the kids and grandma and were gone."

Sounds like totally legit reportage.

I can't believe the article actually came out and admitted that. Such craven brazenness.

This administration is a dangerous failure.

2013-10-18 10:40:36 AM
"President Obama's top adviser Valerie Jarrett was behind a plan to force a showdown" should be rewritten as "President Obama's top adviser Valerie Jarrett was behind a plan to provoke a showdown." Obama didn't force a shutdown anymore than a bullfighter forces a bull to charge. He just knew the bull would charge if he twirled his cape in front of it.

2013-10-18 10:40:57 AM
Is this another attempt to avoid giving the blah guy credit?

President Obama's top adviser Valerie Jarrett was behind a plan to force a showdown with Republicans over ObamaCare as part of a strategy to regain Democratic control of the House next year, claims author Ed Klein.

Yeah that rube goldbergian plan sounds real plausible... oh wait!

"We're very excited," said Rep. Michele  Bachmann (R-Minn.). "It's exactly what  we wanted, and  we got it."

This is the same "reporter" that said that Obama rudely walked out of a meeting with Netanyahu in Isreal to go have dinner with Michelle and the kids.  The fact that Michelle and kids were still in the US was a fact that escaped this cutting edge reporter.

2013-10-18 10:44:30 AM
The real culprit here is Captain Obvious who must've snuck into the White House to inform President Obama of all these important things.

2013-10-18 10:47:09 AM
Oh lord.

Because she recognized the consequences of Republican derp, she is the architect?  Ridiculous.  I liked the game theory analysis of the situation... it's a game of chicken.  The ONLY way that Obama could win was throwing the steering wheel out the window.  He did the right thing, both politically, and pragmatically.

OH, and I will not stop reminding people that Republicans ARE terrorist.

ter·ror·ism
1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes.
2. the state of  and submission produced by terrorism or .
3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

It's text book.  Nobody can deny this.  And do we want a president negotiating with any terrorist?  I think it's against president man-code or something.  Anybody want to counter?

Shut up, subby.

Stop trying to make Valerie Jarrett happen.  It's not going to happen.  Just like Ayers, and Alinsky, and all the other bogeymen you tried to make happen that didn't happen.

I honestly think that might be the case.  The right-wing derp machine is a pretty large economy on its own.  Lots of old people willing to spend their social security checks, you know.

4/10. Technically it's all there... but no style, no spittle, no typos/misspellings, no slippery-slope conclusions. No panache.

It must have been very difficult for the Post and Dickslap McGillicuddy over there to admit to something like that.

In solidarity, I would like to admit that I have an enormous penis, the sexual prowess of a demi-god, and that my semen makes supermodels immortal.

And what's really funny is that you actually believe this.

I think you should go buy some of Ed Klein's books so you can get to the TRUTH.

2013-10-18 10:56:43 AM
Ah, yes, so by advising Obama not to give in to minority demands that Americans not have health care they're trying to label her the "architect of the shutdown".

"Gee officer if you had just given me a million dollars and a lifetime supply of ice cream I wouldn't have had to shoot my hostage, obviously her death is your fault."

How very Machiavellian of Jarrett to realize that the public would blame Republicans for something the Republicans wanted to do.

Yup Obama with the help of some person who wrote a book used mind control rays to force Republicans into being intractable assholes over the ACA to force a shutdown and possible default. You, the NYPost and some guy selling a book have cracked this thing WIDE OPEN.

Perhaps he should broaden his approach. "A research" sounds somewhat limited in scope.

"Her power derived from one simple fact - proximity, No one except Michelle Obama is closer to the president than Valerie," Klein quoted Democratic power broker Vernon Jordan as saying.

President Obama's top adviser Valerie Jarrett was behind a plan to force a showdown with Republicans over ObamaCare as part of a strategy to regain Democratic control of the House next year, claims author Ed Klein.

Klein - who wrote a provocative biography about Obama last year entitled "The Amateur" - said White House insiders refer to Jarrett as "The Night Stalker" because she is the only presidential aide who frequently spends time in the family quarters and dines with the Obamas.

Yeah, there's not a single, solitary word in there I believe is true.  Way to go, NY Post, you squamous Murdoch-infested rag.
