My drug dealing neighbors have the granma getting the kids while the hubby stays home working on bicycles. Doesn't stop customers from turning up in the middle of the night banging on the glass.

Exactly what I was wandering. I hate these damn articles with no details, I really want to know what indicates that a person left the house to buy drugs versus leaving the house to do anything else.

...then the cops and school officials left to pick their own kids up from day care, after stopping at the liquor store to buy recreational drugs that they were going to consume later that night.
