I thought of turning LA into one large liter box.  I see someone is already starting a plan of action.

lack of warmth: I thought of turning LA into one large liter box.  I see someone is already starting a plan of action.

Just because you don't have TF doesn't mean you can keep us out.

My cat staked a claim to the couch cushion directly to the left of where I sit. My dog has claimed the two cushions to the right of me.

A house not far from me was owned by cats for a few years. Dead owner's will said the cats could have the house as long as they lived.

Property rights for cats?  Yes, most Americans do have a right to own property, which includes cats.

According to the will, the cats own the house.

What the hell?

Where I grew up (sorta rural) we'd just shoot a cat, if it wasn't welcome in this world anymore.
It's certanly a lot less barbaric than hauling it to a vet, because the generic cat doesn't like being confined.

Seriously, smear some cat food or pate on the end of the barrel, then you can't miss, and the cat will never know why the pate came with buck-shot.

This crap is just.... bizarre.

/Yes, I know, shooting animals inside city limits is not... the best cause of action. But this here is LA!

Found a picture of the "reporter" i403.photobucket.comWhy don't you go do a story on gang-bangers or some REAL problem.

So, this guy doesn't understand trap-neuter-release programs as a means of population control.

I don't really understand why he hates the idea, apparently he feels it is somehow benefiting animals he considers pests.

The bias is so strong I can't figure out what the actual legislation is.

Oh well.

I'm guessing that he's a colossal ignoramus.

Well the Trap Neuter Release program for hobos doesn't seem to be working.

Each cat will live about twelve years, I can't wait... and each cat has nine lives! That's four times twelve, times nine... No, it's less than that. Anyway, that's more than I'll ever live. I'll be gone!

Abandoned and feral cats sit under greasy cars and peer out, terrified of the unnatural enemies who stalk, chase and throw objects at them, accelerate vehicles to try to hit them, or place toxic substances in food to sicken or kill them. Somehow I can't wrap my head or my heart around what part of this proposal is "humane."

THAT is the real problem. This is the solution:

i1211.photobucket.com

Last time I caught some farker trying to run over one of the neighbor's cats, I veered into his lane until he stopped viciously leering at the cat hurrying across the road and went "OH SHIAT!!!" I smiled my wicked smile, and haven't seen him since. That cat is still doing fine though *crosses fingers*.

/Good owners don't let their furry friends outside
