That was the one where Scully quoted the secret sheep code from "Babe," right?

Damn, I just read the wiki entry and that freaked me out. Really, it's scary because it could happen in real life. The monsters in Home aren't aliens or mythical creatures, they're just backwoods hicks. God, I always remember this episode whenever I travel trough the country. When I'm coming up on some dilapidated crapshack that was last maintained in 1912 I can't help but think "Yep, there probably is some horrifically inbred clan of serial killers who have lived here for generations and the only thing they have to do for fun is disappear local travelers."
And then the car engine starts sputtering...

I like the fact that it was too much for Johnny Mathis, the creepiest motherf*cker ever.

One of many awesome episodes. I'd go on my favorites list but I'm sure they've all been mentioned by now.

drjekel_mrhyde: what_now: Jesus, this one and the one with the dude that eats livers and squiggles through walls...Tooms? I think? Totally creepy. Loved that show

I agree, I loved both of those

I liked the cancer guy that barfed himself out of his own mouth IIRC, and the healer dude that ate people and barfed them out into moulds. Lots of barfing in that show.

I thought the most controversial episode was when they replaced that Evolution guy with the T-1000.

Mugato: My favorite episodes were the ones with the alien invasion arc until I figured out that they had no idea where they were going with it.

That show set the absolute platinum standard for the "we have absolutely no idea where this is going but feel confident that if we keep layering in enough bullshiat it'll all eventually come together" theory of television writing, and it held that title without question until the third season of Lost happened.

And that creepy guy went on to marry this:
