Yes you put it better.

I usually vote both sides of the aisle for who's better for the state. This Lonagan guy was just a boat load of crazy. There's no room for a guy like him in this overcrowded state.

I will always laugh at Steve Lonegan as the guy who hired two undocumented aliens to put up political signs while he was advocating that all illegal immigrants be deported as the head of the NJ branch of the Koch Bros' Americans for Prosperity.

JerseyTim: I didn't vote for Cory Booker. I voted against Steve Lonegan.

I would love to vote against Lonegan, but I gave up my NJ residency already. Oh, well, I'll have to console myself with voting against Linda McMahon.

I like this one: Just yesterday, the day before the freaking election, he held a press conference to announce the endorsement of a guy who was interim mayor of Jersey City for four months in 1992.

Also, this:
Lonegan also picked up an endorsement from Ward C City Councilman Rich Boggiano. Boggiano, who didn't appear at today's event, told The Jersey Journal that he's "tired of what represents us in New Jersey."

Boggiano, a registered Democrat, said today he has no qualms about endorsing a conservative Republican.

"I don't know that he's that conservative," he said. "I don't know that much about him."

When I lived in southern Illinois I found that there are two towns out there called New Baden and New Athens, both of which are pronounced with a long A. I was mocked mercilessly for pronouncing them otherwise.

i had the misfortune to stop for gas and a car wash in cairo. the gas station i pulled up to had two large signs: GAS & CAR WASH. i went to fuel my car, but found the pumps inoperative. the odd creature behind the counter inside informed me that they were out of gas. "well, can i get a car wash then?" i asked. "car wash don't work neither," came the reply. i was reminded of the monty python cheese shop sketch.

RAND PAUL is bad enough, but Perry's been actively campaigning to take jobs from states like New Jersey. So how did he think bringing Perry in would help?

Yep, Rand was totally opposed to Hurricane Sandy relief and Rick Perry took a break from his job stealing trip to campaign for Lonegan. Any voter who was on the fence and paying even a little attention to them would have been turned off.
