You want a good interview of Colbert out of character?  His interviews with NPR around "American Again" were pretty awesome.

He's broken character a few times for interviews with NPR, and they're always a lot of fun to listen to.  He's a really sharp guy, and you get a hint that the things he satirizes actually do frighten him a bit.

Well, his character is a pundit, and by cracking up, he exposes himself as an obvious comedian, so I would call that "breaking character".

In related news, as a tech contractor I get off-shore recruiters all the time. My favorite are those from Jay Vijay. Keep in mind emails show up last name, first name.

"Munchma Quchi" always gets me.  I remember when we watched it the first time it aired, I kept laughing for hours later every time I thought of it.  Watching that part still makes just cry with laughter.

/I'm cracking up just typing this

My sainted mother could be on her deathbed and if I even thought of that bit I'd start cracking up.
