Well, someone really do something about her bullying problem.

I can't get past why his daughter being a biatch bothers you (and everyone else, seemingly).  What is so compelling about this story that motivates people to take up sides and start shouting at each other?

Oh, fark her. If the internet hate machine "hacked" her facebook, they would have made her life a living hell without the courts being involved.

Parents in denial can be rather frustrating.

Seems like forgot the most important part. Next sentence:

At their mobile home, a barking pit bull stood guard and no one came outside despite shouts from reporters for an interview.

Most people are bothered by a 14 yr old killing herself.
It becomes more aggriviating when there is clear evidence that another liffle girl was one of the factors pushing her towards, it celebrated the girsl death and the parents deny it is a problem.

It is also mortifying to consider the parents whose girl is now dead, driven insane by the incessant and deliberate harassment of these rotten princesses.  All the effort and care that goes into parenting only to see it undone because some people never take the time to instill the "hey don't be an unrelenting dickwad to anyone" lesson.

Parents are raising children to be completely lacking in empathy and compassion, not only that but to be as vicious and deliberately hurtful as possible. Then when it is pointed out to them that their child is a vicious little monster completely lacking in empathy and compassion, they go into complete denial mode. Not my kid. She's an angel.

Yes, that bothers me. Kid today, vicious adult not capable of empathy tomorrow.

PS I didn't shout at anyone

Kids have always been mean little monsters, but now with cell phones, tablets, and computers they don't even have to be in the same state with someone to bully them and send them over the edge. Kids are now meaner than ever. They've lost empathy and sympathy since they aren't even seeing the people's faces they are bullying. We're basically raising a whole generation of sociopaths.

Louis C.K. did a whole rant about this. Worth watching (minus the Bruce impersonations):

It's also possible the parents have punished the fark out of their daughter at home but just don't want to see her get a criminal record and/or see jail time.

They very well may have done the former.  But I don't see how transparent public denials help achieve the latter.

Sincerely doubt this - More likely it is just more visible/public than before.

Sorry to interrupt the C-J of bully-hate, but the parents of the "victim" share some of the blame here in that their child was clearly incapable of disengaging.

Agreed. I've seen hints of this from my kids, and as an active parenting team, my wife and I put a quick stop to it. Educated our children on what bullying is, why it's bad, how the pack can turn on you in an instant... makes a difference.

I do not suspect that to be the case here.

Why would they punish her if they don't think she did anything wrong?

Kids today know there are no consequences for anything they do. They can't be disciplined, punished or anything else because they know the law will step in on their side. Schools can't do a damn thing, and, even if the parents wanted to, their hands are tied, too. And, like I said, the little monsters know it. And if their parents refuse to believe they could ever do anything wrong, they're home free.

/Yeah, they're little angels, till the parents aren't around.

To bad Fark hasn't linked an update to that story. It seems that the Mom's story of getting no justice for her daughter is bs. She apperantly didn't want to cooperate with the law from the get go.

2013-10-16 10:48:50 AM
But in an interview with ABC News that aired Wednesday, a couple identified as the 14-year-old's parents said their daughter would never write something like that and that the girl's Facebook page had been hacked.

Just once I'd like to see an investigator hold up a printed log that proves where the connections came from, right in their stupid faces, and just say "No. It. Wasn't."

It's amazing to me that two decades on people still seem to think that the web is just some anonymous mish-mash of text and pictures and that there are no trails or records of your activity when completely the opposite is true.

Covering your tracks in a computer breach requires considerable skill. Making your tracks lead to some other, specific person is nearly impossible. Nobody hacked the farking account. Take some goddamn responsibility for once in your miserable, inbred, trailer-trash lives you farking twunts.

Not necessarily. Last night I saw the story that the prosecutor and sheriff said she wasn't cooperating. Her mom said that wasn't true. If she wasn't cooperating, why was the prosecutor's excuse "We weren't going to get a conviction" rather than "She isn't helping"?
