I want to see more of The Tick. Loved that TV show.

Wright co-wrote the script with "Attack the Block" director Joe Cornish.

Finally caught that one the other day. Recommended. Though you may have to turn the closed captioning on.

Paul Rudd I could definitely see, especially if it's like the early Ultimates comics.

JGL if Pym.
Rudd if O'Grady. 60% of the time it works every time!

Oi mate, you havin' a giggle? It's the Queen's own knickers, innit bruv? I'll glass you one in the gabber, you savvy?

/I completely agree though; that was a good movie

Why not both? Rudd as Pym, JGL as Lang.

From his Wiki page it looks like he's currently working on "Revolution". Though the "Revolution" page doesn't mention him at all.

Surprisingly for a movie casting rumor, I'm okay with either of those.

Neither actor seems right for the role, especially Rudd. I'd expected Edgar Wright to go after a lesser known character actor for this part-someone who could channel Pym with apparent ease. In fact, one person springs to mind: Gabriel Macht aka "Harvey Spector" on the fantastic USA lawyer series Suits. He plays the brilliant and smarmy egomaniac VERY well and could therefore do this in his sleep.

It would also accomplish two things:

1. Cinematic redemption after his disastrous turn in The Spirit.

2. The opportunity to kickstart a mini-franchise(and joining later Avengers movies in the pipeline). Not to mention the flexibility to branch out if he so desires.

Anyway, that's my two cents.

See - this annoys the crap out of me. They are speaking English, albiet incredibly accented; and you seem to have a fairly good grasp of (what I'm assuming is) your mother tongue. Why do people need subtitles to understand the language you speak - maybe it's just me, but I don't find accents that hard to decypher.

I normally don't need to but the slang is so thick at times I liked having it spelled out. If there's true British slang I want to know how to spell it.

For me, I use them because most movies are edited poorly for speech or actors mumble too much. Even with my surround sound optimized for it, sometimes i cant hear a line during high background noise scenes

This. I have closed captioning on all the time. I shouldn't have to struggle to know what's being said, but damned if dialogue audio is poorly mixed quite often.

@ Subby: Giant Man and/or Ant Man might be rather lame hero gimmicks (partly why Yellowjacket was created) but the character of Hank Pym himself is complete awesomesauce, with only half the douchebagginess of Reed Richards.

After Firefly folded the two of them worked on a script for a TV pilot. Fillion would be a successful business type who loses everything and has his wife leave him. Tudyk would be his former con-man/thieving brother. After Fillion watches a repossession company come in and take his stuff and luxury car he realizes that there's a con in it. That you can legitimately steal other peoples' stuff in the guise of a repo-man. So the two brothers set up a repo company with the plan to steal stuff as they go along.

One of the visual jokes they had written was that they're hanging out in front of a nice restaurant in shirt sleeves until someone in a sports car rolls up and tosses them the keys.

Executives kept coming back with notes like "What if... they're really working with the FBI?" They were never able to get it made as they wanted and the project folded before it was completed.
