You can build it, but you have to register it if it has a motor and you want to take it out on the public waterways. Rowboats/kayaks/canoes are exempt unless you strap on a motor.

Agreed. I also don't understand why these microbreweries are all hamstrung because they can't get permits to brew new recipes during the government shutdown. Where I'm from, we call that am opportunity.

The tag says "Florida" but my heart still says "South Carolina," subby.  We are also a state of waterways, coastlines and intoxicated morons!
