We will see if T.J. Yates is any better, if not they should strongly consider drafting a quarterback in teh 1st or 2nd round next year. Teddy Bridgewater anyone?

It's really unfair to put all the blame on Shaub. The Texans sucking is really a team effort. From offense to defense to special teams, they suck. But not for lack of talent. I have to assume that the coaching staff is just that bad.

I wonder what the record is for most games in a row with a pick 6. Do the Texans have it now?

When it hit 4 in a row, they owned the record by themselves.

Didn't he almost immediately throw a pick-six?

So now they are trying to go all VanderMeer on this record, apparently.

Houston only has a team because several attempts to put the 32nd team in L.A. fell through. Maybe it is not too late. Take that team from those classless red staters, and put it in So Cal.

No, it's just that the Texans suffer by comparison to A&M, and surprisingly on Saturday, UT. You know, teams that know how to play and win.

Yes, because when I think of class, I think of the city that rioted after every Lakers championship.

After TJ Yates threw his own pick six, you have to wonder if it isn't the Texans who should own that pick six record and not Schaub specifically. I mean, even if you throw a lot of interceptions it's still unlikely that many will go for pick sixes. It seems like it would take a whole team effort to let that happen. Now, what are they doing? Is it the playcalling? I don't know.

Multiple defenses this year have said that after studying tape, the Texans have one of the most predictable offenses ever seen.

Well, considering he threw a pick six (five games in a row for the Texans to throw one), I'd say no.

Hell, if the Browns sign a QB to back up Campbell, he could be available next week.  Not that anyone would want him.

...but speaking of the Browns, their fans say "Yawn, wake me up when you've done this to three different QBs like we have...and littered a field with bottles after a botched call that didn't go your way."

It's possible that both quarterbacks can't pass. It is equally possible that the receivers aren't in the right place at the right time.

Except that the name "Oilers" was retired from use by Bud Adams and the Titans, hence the reason Houston had to pick a new name for their expansion team.

And no team would ever use that name after what Bud did to soil it. But the best name Houston could come up with was the "Texans"? And this name was determined by a poll. What a lack of imagination.

I lived in Houston form 1995 - 1998.   Three of the worst years of my life.   I worked at the Medical center and probably 75% of the people I worked with were from out of state.   That's because of the Medical Center and the Oil and Gas industries.    The locals are great, the out-of-staters are the problem.

Houston was always kind of a lame sports town, never seemed very supportive of their teams. Still, no one is less classy than Philthy fans, no way.

When he went down some people cheered.  Like when you cheer a big hit in a critical division game.  When he stayed down, 99% of the fans in the stadium stayed quiet.  When Deion Sanders started to do what can only be described as a medicine dance around the  people surrounding Irvin, did the crowd boo more.

I know, I was there.

/And Philly fans didn't boo Santa in 1968.  They booed a 19 year old 5'6" 140 lb skinny kid in a straggly Santa suit that the stadium management pulled out of the stands to sub in for the halftime Christmas show because the Santa they hired didn't show up.

Santa Claus didn't throw a pick 6

Also your line about taking a team away from a city for having disrespectful fans is exactly why LA lost the raiders.

Al Davis moved because fans didn't feel safe going down to watch games due to all the beatings and robberies that took place after the games.

/though the tradition seems to have followed the raiders
