Vettel or the field?

Vettel.

Foaming: Vettel or the field?

Gotta go with Vettel, sadly, barring unexpected technical issues... which given how the Red Bull team has been going, means that either a tire blows out or someone accidentally switches Vettel's car with Webber's.

Would be nice to see a Ferrari win, though.

I'd like to see Massa finish ahead of Alonso

What's the over/under on the Button/Stewart commercial showing during the race?

/Oh my word.

Is Vettel going to wrap up the championship today or next week?

The SkySports guy live-brodcasting himself standing in line is pretty amusing.

The Beatings Will Continue Until Morale Improves: Is Vettel going to wrap up the championship today or next week?

If Vettel wins and Alonso finishes out of the points, it's done for. Anything else, and Vettel doesn't get it this week but even if Alonso finishes in the points if Vettel wins it's pretty much academic at this point.

2013 F1 Season Bingo (or Drinking Game):

Sky showed that earlier, when they took each other out as teammates and then the year later when they went out together at the start.

Seb leads Alonso 272-195 (77 points) with 5 races remaining. If Seb wins today, Alonso needs to finish in P8 or higher in order to not get eliminated.

If Seb wins and Alonso finishes in P9, the gap would be 100 points with 4 races to go; and if Alonso were to win all 4 races and Seb not get any points, they'd be tied in points but Seb would win the championship because of having won more races (9 victories to 6).

It's Enrico Pallazzo!

If Vettel runs the table, he'll be two wins away from Senna's total and 12 from Prost's total. And he's just 26.

I'd add
- Di Resta has bad luck
- Perez antagonizes his teammate
- camera focuses on Sutil's girlfriend

in this case, he actually had a tire problem, or rather a lack of tire problem

Hey Grosjean and Webber, please continue to make this interesting, thanks.

It's certainly more interesting than Vettel starting from pole and running away with the race like he's been doing. I hate to jinx it early, but this is turning out to be interesting and a little different than usual, I guess.

2013-10-13 02:17:41 AM

Mztlplx: Vettel 3rd, Alonso 6th. This is good?

Well, it helps with any chance Alonso has of winning the championship, which is currently a very very slim chance. Of course Alonso's teammate, Massa isn't letting him by, so that might get interesting.

2013-10-13 02:17:50 AM
Don't worry, everyone, Redbull will botch Webber's pit stop sooner or later.

2013-10-13 02:17:51 AM
Lewis is out....

2013-10-13 02:18:47 AM
And Hamilton is out.

They just talked about one of the things I don't like about F1: the fact that it's tactically useful to say "stay 2s behind the car in front of you".

/And Rosberg just rolled off the course apparently under limited power. Bad day for Mercedes.
