You joke about MRSA but the Bucs just had another player get hit by it. The NFLPA may recommend this week's game be canceled.

Comparing Tim Tebow to a MRSA infection is unfair to MRSA infections. You can get rid of those.

Do sportswriters believe that if they wish hard enough some team will pick up Tebow?  Is there some sort of sports Tinkerbell in their mind?

Surely, his faith will heal the Bucs.

I think the only reason Jacksonville hasn't picked up Tebow is that he interferes with their ability to throw Gabbert out there.  They'd still be terrible with Tebow but might manage to win a game or two.  Although they have the same problem with Henne, who isn't good but isn't remotely as terrible as Gabbert is.

But run a goofy option attack with Tebow, MJD and Denard Robinson?  I'd watch that.

They're dying to spend just five minutes with him.

The rumors of an MRSA outbreak at the Tampa Bay Bucaneers training facility have been greatly exaggerated. As Team Physician I have personally taken charge of the situation and can assure not only the NFL and the NFLPA, but the media and public in general, that Bucaneers players are not being exposed to any inherent health risks related to this issue.

Tampa should simply be shut down by the CDC for a quarantine. Not the stadium, the whole city.

I think the media has gone too far in championing his cause, and has been doing so for some time. But now they're actively hurting his chances at getting on an NFL squad because nobody wants a below-average backup that ESPN will blather on and on about the second their actual talented starting QB throws an INT.

Seeing how major media outlets can slant major news stories, like Gulf War 2 or the current shutdown, I don't think they're far off.

Yeah and Sean Hannity is a hard hitting, non biased journalist...

Bad writer needs to have his head examined.

One is a staph infection.

The other is a staff infection.

I had a MRSA infection on my balls.  It was simultaneously the most awful and hysterically funny thing to ever happen to me.

Having the ability to yell at someone "well I had MRSA on my BALLS" is a really good trump card to have

Evidently, subby has never heard of a "laying on of hands"?

Timmy can't be expected to heal the unrighteous. Or an amputee, because they simply aren't true believers, amirite?

But is one of your legs an inch longer than the other? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4oP9AWgd0s

God is all over that shiat!!
