Don't they all?

In the current environment, any Republican with even a faint scent of moderation or reasonableness on him/her is a marked person.

I don't know how you can appeal to a wider audience while also trying to navigate between Teabaggers and moderate Republicans.  Seems like a lose-lose to me.

There is no way in hell an electable Republican presidential candidate can win the primaries right now.  Quite simply, their base is a minority now, however vocal.

Makes me wonder when they'll realize why minorities have been so pissed throughout our history.

I don't know what bottom must be hit before the true believers stop doubling down.  Change will happen either when they discover this level, or when their sugar daddies get sick of funding failure.  The latter will probably happen first.

Hey, regardless of one's sexual orientation, at one point or another everyone could use some help from the sluts.

"I've also been lectured, as many of you have, that we need to stop talking about social issues if we want to win elections, but if we're serious about saving the American dream, we can't stop talking about these issues," Cruz went on to say,..

Who say wha?

Values Voter Summit, heh.

There needs to be truth in advertising, but I guess... Big Government Faux Conservatives that want to use the power of the state to force their personal moral and religious opinions on everyone else...just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Instead, he posited a "rising tide of intolerance in America, intolerance towards those who cherish these values."

well he is right in so far as me. i've come to hate the "family values" folks. all that fake piety and WWJD and then they do the exact opposite. fark em, they are adding nothing meaningful to society and should be shunned.

That's why their "angry old white guy" demographic is getting so panicky. They know they're becoming a minority, and they themselves haven't treated minorities well in the past. Unless the Tea Party can legislatively give them the top dog status they've always enjoyed due to race and gender, they're terrified that someday, someone who's not white will give them the sh*t end of the stick the Teaper types been handing out to other minorities for years.

This. I would LOVE to see a mainstream reporter corner one of these farks and ask "Excuse me, if you love Jesus so much, why do you do the opposite of everything he says? And how do you explain saying others are forcing their morality on you, while you try to implement Christian laws and force your morality on them?"

But of course, that'll never happen on any of lame-stream librul media(that just happens to toss softballs to everyone), and definitely not on Faux Snooze.

Colbert cracked me the fark up with that bit. I did kinda wonder fro a second how many people in the audience were gonna get the reference but soon stopped worrying about that because it's actually lulzier that way.
