That was an older cub who clearly knew the man and already liked him (you can tell from all the 'chuffing').

Doing that kind of hands-on dentistry with a tiger is absolutely stupid.  He could and should have lost an arm for that stunt.

I'm guessing it was a baby tooth that was loose already, so it wasn't something that was painful for the tiger. It's probably safe to say this guy knows this tiger's body language very well, and even though I'm no expert, I could tell the tiger wasn't in a threatening mood either. But yea, I agree with you. Give that tiger a cow knuckle to chew on, that tooth would take care of itself, no potential lost limbs needed.
