NorCalLos: van1ty: It seemed Marquardt and Barnett were perma-banned for steroids, but both came back.

Sobral was banned for holding a submission too long against Heath, and never came back.

Ricco Rodriguez was pretty much banned for his weigh in tattoo, and never came back.

Interesting. I didn't know the story about Ricco Rodriguez until you comment prompted me to google: http://www.cagepotato.com/exclusive-ricco-rodriguez-explains-why-the-u fc-wont-have-him-back/">http://www.cagepotato.com/exclusive-ricco-rod riguez-explains-why-the-u fc-wont-have-him-back/

He seems to have left out his drug problems, his armed robbery arrest and him working as a leg breaker for a mob family. The last one is most likely the reason the UFC won't take him back.

Also, I must laugh my farking butt off at anyone citing Palhares vs Moura as evidence that Palhares holds onto submissions too long.

You're basically admitting that you've never watched the fight.

Lol. Well, at least he isn't blaming other people for his problems.

Tank Abbott pummels your comment into unconsciousness and then mocks it's seizure.

You missed the Bad 'Ol Days obviously.

brap: Speaking of repeatedly punching an unconscious opponent, does anyone know of a good penis moisturizer?

Your mom.

Meh. Dude is a repeat offender and had an elevated T-test in his recent history.  He was on the thinnest of ice.

mediablitz: cato113: This is the fourth incident, in MMA, where Palhares held on a submission after his opponent tapped and there is well known one incident from a grappling tournament in 2011. This is also the guy that jumped up on the cage to celebrate, even though the fight wasn't stopped. His manager's statements don't help much either, he basically said that Palhares isn't malicious, just a simple man that has trouble following instructions.

I get that he is a repeat offender. I'm just thinking he (or his management) said something after the fight that pissed off Dana.

Let's see what the commission does.

He was on Olberman last night and Dana doesn't like bad press.  Especially since he is trying hard to fight in NY.

Are you referring to a specific Tank Abbott fight, or just his general ring persona?

Tank was an all around horrible human being. His debut fight was a good insight into that.

A more recent example of worse behavior than Palhares would be the bench clearing brawl where the Carlson Gracie jr camp stomped up "Mayhem" Miller in the waning days of Strikefarce.
