World famous graffiti artist, what a bunch of crap.  Free license to vandalize anything because he is "famous" and famous because he is "Anonymous"  You want to paint a mural on the side of a building get permission or buy the damn building.  I saw where he painted up someones car as part of his mural, I don't care that the car was a worthless POS if it ws my worthless POS I would be pissed.  People kept commenting on how the worthless POS was worth "Millions." Bullshiat some poor guy can't drive to work because some asshole painted over his windows in the middle of the night.  Treat this guy like the criminal he is.

I'm wishing that the cops see this and decide to come there quick enough to run those guys away so the DPW can just throw paint over the artwork. Not it would stop the guys from then scamming people afterwards.

I wouldn't care if the Mona Lisa was in the worst neighborhood in Boston. I wouldn't bother to go to that neighborhood.

I saw in another story that some guy showed up with a hammer and chisel. So maybe having thugs around isn't all bad.

You know, the Brooklyn Museum is actually really awesome, probably the most underrated and least well known of NY's great museums, and has one hell of a collection (including a truly massive Egyptian collection)

Wow someone woke up on the wrong side of life.  He is world famous, anything he painted (such as a car) is worth a lot of money afterwards.  Probably more than your poor guy makes in a year.  Has Banksy painted anything you own?  No?  Then why so upset?

A hustler will always try to exploit someone else's resources for his own gain.

But enough about Bansky.

It is worth mentioning, and it is a terrific museum.

Question I've always had... how does one validate a Banksy?  I mean, he's anonymous, so someone could fake it easily.

If you "think" you know his twitter, he sometimes posts photos shortly after his work is done.
