(KHOU Houston)   Just as the War on Drugs seemed to perhaps be coming to an end, somebody invented liquid meth that's so potent it can be absorbed through the skin if it is touched   (khou.com) divider line 79

So like regular meth? People who make meth stay high for a long time afterward just from handling the stuff.

The war on drugs will never end until people realize the republicans and the democrats take bribes from the same people.

Meth isn't a liquid. Pure meth is a crystal or powder. If it's in solution, it's not that strong. Now, if it were dissolved in DMSO or something, that would suck, but not because it's more "potent".

That and Krolodil has finally landed in America. I can't imagine a drug that could be more horrific. It makes meth users look like Calvin Klein models.

Youtube it sometime, it's far worse than meth.

I was told there would be no meth.

I am skeptical that there is a type of Methamphetamine that can be administered on blotter.  I am going to guess that it might have been an NBOME or maybe even some RC Benzo like Phenazapam.

No, pure methamphetamine is a pale yellow liquid. Methamphetamine SALT is a crystal or powder.

I wouldn't be surprised if the drug warriors invented it.  Amazingly a new "more terrible than anything we have ever seen before" drug comes along whenever people start getting sick of the drug war.

Uh... when did it "seem like perhaps" the WOD was ending? Because I "seem like perhaps" to have missed the memo on that one.

Oh you mean the handful of states who kinda sorta made pot "legal" but in reality still have heavy handed restrictions and are having their new laws undermined at every turn by the feds and every boot licking authoritarian prison industrial complex supporting dillweed?

Yeah, totes look like the WOD is winding down there, subturd.

Proof the system works. Young kids do something stupid, end up highly trained criminal operatives by their 18th birthday, once the penal system is done shiatting them out.

WOR ON DRUHGS!

How do people still think like this?  Like sports cause you to be a good person.  I was very involved in sports in high school and was a good person at that time* but those two weren't related.

Meth doesn't have to be potent to be absorbed through the skin, just have a high enough dose to do anything (ie it can have low potency (a lot of fillers, byproducts, etc.) but a big enough dose will get enough molecules through the skin to do something). I'm betting it's not meth at all, though, just some structurally similar hallucinogen (some phenylamine, probably).

I like how they said one of the symptoms of the girls was they were lethargic...there is no way in hell meth is making you lethargic unless it's been 2 or 3 days since you took some and your tired from being up for 48 hours.

MJ vs Meth

"Medical Meth", LOL what a joke! Oh wait...

Remember kids, meth is only a DEA Schedule II drug while marijuana is Schedule I with "no currently accepted medical use in the United States, a lack of accepted safety for use under medical supervision, and a high potential for abuse".

Sports doesn't cause you to be a good person; most athletes are real dill holes. The point you're missing is organized structured functions which keep children busy, focused and away from many bad influences for most of the time are much more positive than way too much unsupervised free time wherein the devil finds work for the hands of the idle. Unloved youngsters who roam about unchecked all too often and easily fall prey to low moral scumbags who gladly mislead the kids into a life of drugs, crime, vandalism and overall ne'r-do-well behavior.

All of these bullshiat storms are based on "something real". The very fact that one would even take that into account as a measure of legitimacy would mean that one is already brainwashed.
The "War on Drugs" is, IN AND OF ITSELF a lie.
The details about particular drugs, and how "bad" they are, is just distraction and intellectual misdirection.

/Then again, maybe they have.

Consider the economics of this situation....
Could a junior high girl afford to dose herself and 5 friends with some new novel type of meth?  No.
Could a junior high girl afford to dose herself and 5 friends with garden variety acid?  Yes!
