Model building is boring, you have to have some fun.

CSB

I was working with an architecture firm and the model maker accidentally crushed a part of the display in a non-important part of the model.  He simply painted the crater he create but a smashed pickup in the bottom and put two guys in black suits examining the crater.  Those that noticed it thought it was hilarious.

That is utterly ace. If I were in that line of business they'd get every model building contract I could send their way and a side job designing a model railway for me personally.

The architects didn't know how to populate the resort, so they watched some 80's ski school movies as a reference.

Heh, I've been putting a mooning Santa on my drawings since I was a junior in high school back in '93.  The latest set of plans I've been working on has a naked Santa in it somewhere.  Good luck finding it.

Well look, see, there's an abominable snowman on the ski slopes
And apparently the tourists have never seen anything like that before
Hear the shredders complaining to the manager
"Get that snow thing off of this hill"

Abominable snowman on the ski slopes
That's right, you heard me right, gang
And the bunnies, they all remarking,
"Looks like a dirty marshmallow with fangs"

Well, there's an abominable snowman on the ski slopes
Now he's down by the diamond lane
Abominable snowman on the ski slopes
And they cannot chase him away

Abominable snowman on the ski slopes
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Abominable snowman on the ski slopes
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

Was always done in my design and rendering classes. Like disgruntled monks we were, trying to get away with as much juvenmarginalia as we could, at least once in every project. It became a sort of Where's Waldo, only he was usually taking a dump on a sleeping dog or getting a bj through a hole in the fence or getting high or...

Subby is the one who deserves the fail tag. It's common for people who do modelling to include hilarious details. My husband does model railroading. You'd be amazed at some of the minatures out there for modellers. People mooning, cows in fun, random locations, the works. The goal is to have different details that catch the eye each time a person looks at it.
