On June 5, 2004, Ronald Reagan, the 40th President of the United States, died after having suffered from Alzheimer's disease for nearly a decade.

I'm not going to care about this issue! So I'm going to burn somebody on the other side with another issue! That I also won't be caring about, anyway!

He has Palin coming in to stump for him.

After the debate, Lonegan told reporters he "clobbered" Booker, who he said was "coached" and had "pollsters telling him what to do."

Methinks he shouldn't be so quick to dismiss coaches and pollsters. But then, people who refuse help often need it the most eh?

/Me two cents

When you're going to get beat as bad as he is, you need to go big.

Meh, at this point the race is already Booker's by a mile. This is just Lonegan's last desperate efforts to get the media to PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO HIM!!! before the election happens and he goes back to being a nobody.

2013-10-10 01:50:21 PM
Lonegan was the state director of Americans for Prosperity for the last six years.  Those assholes shouldn't be running for anything higher than "top bunk in my cell", and yet the Republicans think this is the guy to run for a Senate spot?

Politifact review of one of their 2012 election-season ads.

How slimy does your organization have to be to run an ad described as "the sneakiest we've seen this year" in the 2012 election cycle?  "We've checked three claims from the ad, finding them False, Mostly False, and Pants on Fire."  The ad is a minute long.  You fit at least three lies into that?

AFP will run that through their think-tank process and spin it as "Politifact reports on the level of truth contained in our ads."

2013-10-10 01:51:03 PM
"You may not be able to swim in that river, but it's probably, I think, because of all the bodies floating around of shooting victims in your city," Lonegan shot back.

"Oh my God," Booker said.

Lonegan noted that his campaign had donors pledging $10 every time Booker used the words "tea party."

Lonegan said "marriage is the greatest institution made by man" because "it's about the children."

Asked whether he believes gay couples should have children, he quipped: "That would be a biological phenomenon."

Lonegan didn't only argue with Booker. At one point he chided a panelist for not checking his facts, and accused the moderator, NBC 10 anchor Jim Rosenfield, of giving "the edge to my opponent throughout the whole debate."

Actually it's because of chemicals such as dioxin being dumped into the river by large corporations, before such things were regulated by the EPA.

only the Mafia uses the river to dispose of bodies.  The gangs just leave their victims laying the streets as a warning.

that's way further up than Newark

No bodies in the river down near Newark, but the water does look a lot worse, starting around the seedy strip club.

The guy campaigned with Rand (f*ck hurricane Sandy relief) Paul and Rick (send your jobs to Texas, we will do them at min wage) Perry. I just don't see NJ voters being dumb enough to fall for that shiat.

Man, now if there was only a regulatory body open that could track and enforce clean water standrds.  You know, one that didn't have the business interests it regulates be able to shut it down with a few calls to their Senator and a few contributions to their local derp brigade to run commercials about gubm'nt regulation.

For a normal person I would say it sounds like he doesn't want to win, and is deliberately sabotaging his own campaign.

For an "Americans for Prosperity' backed candidate though you can safely say he's probably deluded enough to think he isn't shooting his own campaign in the foot.

No, this is exactly correct. If we abolished the EPA, we wouldn't know about dioxin being dumped into the river. Problem solved!

i always thought that crossing the delaware water gap from pennsylvania into new jersey, you see some really pretty scenery. then again, though i've flown in and out of NYC many times, i haven't driven that route for 20 years, so it could be a industrial hellhole now for all i know.

Lonegan comes across as a nasty piece of work.  But for some New Jerseyans, that's attractive.

Go figure.

The really funny part about this race is that a lot of people aren't exactly thrilled with Booker. He has his supporters, sure, but there's lots of people who are rather "Meh" about him.

However, those people then look at Lonnegan the Koch sucker and then go "OH HELL farkING NO!" and go RUNNING to Booker.

2013-10-10 02:13:44 PM
I just brushed through the whole debate on youtube....holy shiat.

It was basically 60 minutes of butthurt being expressed by that detached from reality loser.

He's getting pancaked by Booker and rightfully so.  What an awful person.
