Shhh.  Remember, Benoit's ptiching

Wow, you weren't kidding, eh?

Is Cutler trying to fake a Chicago accent? Because that's what it sounds like.

The scary thing is that one of those teams WILL go to the playoffs. This could be another year where a 7-9 team makes the playoffs.

So no more biatching by the Saints if that happens?

you ask way to much, they're not saints.

TIGERS WIN!  ALCS HERE WE COME!

TheManofPA: Super Chronic: 4NSpy: How many more football games until breast cancer is cured?

Nah, this is about awareness, man.  Are you aware of breast cancer?  I am totally aware.  I could not be more aware.  Mission accomplished.

I'm aware of breasts. But I've been aware of breasts for as long as I can remember.

And that will do it for the A's. Detroit vs. Boston, St. Louis vs. Los Angeles.

Tigers win.

Playoffs got a lot less fun without A's and Pirates.

To their credit, I don't think Saints fans complain too much about that.

Just like I'm sure Seattle fans wouldn't be nearly as bitter about a certain game if they'd won the Super Bowl the next year or the previous year. Having a championship makes you feel a lot better about things.

TheManofPA: Oddly enough, Favre owns the Pick 6 all time record too

Well, it's not really odd - if you throw the most passes, you probably get the most picks, and if you throw the most picks, you probably have the most returned for TDs.

Cybernetic: Vinny Testaverde may lose his record.

Technically George Blanda holds the record at 42. Testaverde has the modern record at 35 though. Gonna be tough to equal that with games against "defenses" like Washington and Philly still to come.

It's like Madonna's British accent.

Meanwhile baseball semifinals are set. New Broke City wins.

netweavr: So Manning may set the TD record and Int record in the same season?

they're may be something to this equal and opposite conservation of manning energy theory

Welp. Go Dodgers. They've got the longest wait remaining on the board.

Benoit is keeping alive Valverde's tradition of insisting on making virtually every save "exciting."  Even the year Valverde had that huge number of saves multiple baserunners were common for him.

Still going back to the 7-9 Hawks hosting defending champ 9-7 Saints in the playoffs and everyone was complaining.

Fair enough. If someone from the NFC East makes the playoffs sub-500, I want a Hawks logo with hipster attire and a caption: making the playoffs at 7-9 before it was cool.

I really want Verlander and Ilitch to get their rings.  Ilitch is 84, he doesn't have that many years left.  Miggy actually won a championship with the Marlins during his rookie season in 2003, he reached on an error to load the bases during the Barman Inning

CodeMonkey4Life: Super Chronic: "Not Manning's fault," my ass.  That was high.  Catchable, but nevertheless an inaccurate throw.

It'll never happen, but I think the Giants should be looking at Teddy Bridgewater.

why wouldn't they?

it didn't hurt the Packers to pick up a QB when they had an aging INT machine with a superbowl ring

This is just like what the Colt's did to get Andrew Luck.... except they didn't need their Manning to be injured.

I'm just crackign up watching the NFL NFLN right now as they're all tripping all over themselves to break down each INT and explain how none of them are Eli's fault and he's still "clutch".    Must ..... keep ....  narratives .... alive.     Live, damn you narrative.  Live.
