Hyjamon: I am not too familiar with the Delhomme Rating, but I have picked up the context that it measures poor play, so wouldn't a negative score then be good?

if someone can share the calculation, that would be great.

Debated starting Blackmon over Cruz tonight, stuck with Cruz...might end up regretting that.

Each INT or fumble is 1/6 of a full Delhomme.  Highest QB score each week wins.  It's a celebration of the greatness that is Jake.

TheManofPA: I am genuinely beginning to believe that the Mannings together make up one mega QB. Eli is tanking this year to give Peyton superpowers. I sure as hell will put down money on Eli winning a SB the year after Peyton retires and he aborbs all his powers

Here's hoping.

You know you may be onto something.  What did Peyton do when Eli won his first?  I know he was out for the second.

Jake Delhomme had a 6-turnover day once. It's just turnovers divided by 6.

CodeMonkey4Life: that seemed like a poor play choice

Bennett was open; Cutler didn't see him.

So...blood sacrifices in the Manning line. Sounds about right.

it was a playoff game on Jake Delhomme's birthday, the underdog Cardinals came into Carolina and picked off two passes and forced four fumbles the their way to the Super Bowl. Delhomme's failure that night has since been immortalized and honored by many signal callers since.

Highest score and they have to lose the game - there's a winner's exemption.

Last year Rivers got 6 turnovers in one game, and achieved a 100% Delhomme Rating.  But you need 5 INTs and a fumble to go "Full Delhomme".

If a running back is benched for fumbling, Eli should be benched for two picks in two drives.

Crap crap crap

What's his Delhomme rating now?

2013-10-10 08:40:53 PM
Eli is determined to throw more TDs than Peyton this season

Their backup is Curtis Painter, of "Suck for Luck" fame.

Then again... fark it, give the guy a chance.

He's been in Chicago long enough to know how things work around here.

There wasn't a receiver within five yards of that pick-six.

2013-10-10 08:41:49 PM
Oh god...history could be made tonight.  Does Coughlin have the balls to leave him in?  Could we handle the delicious schadenfruede if he did?

The bears just need to get the ball back in Eli's hands while Eli is still in the zone..

2013-10-10 08:41:53 PM
fark you Eli Manning. Just, fark you. Worst week EVER to be playing against the Bears D in multiple leagues.
