(The Hill)   "In my mind the president has committed impeachable offenses." Well, to be fair, in Michele Bachmann's mind the President is funding terrorists, bringing about the biblical End Times, and probably uses ketchup on his hotdogs   (thehill.com) divider line 156

jchic: Nabb1: Well, ketchup on a hot dog should be an impeachable offense.

What about ketchup AND mayonaise on a hotdog?

You get taken out behind the chemical shed and shot.

Bachmann a RINO?  My goodness!  She never should have let the thought cross her mind, facts are better found in the intestines.

I like ketchup, mustard and sauerkraut on a split top bun.

Yeah, I went there.

Bit hard to be sure, bc Fark politics thread obviously very selective in finding every 'batshiat crazy republican' story out there, but I get the impression that fringe players are having to crank up their derp levels to be heard above the din

a race to the bottom in many senses

Bachman, last weekend:

"I'm a believer in Jesus Christ, as I look at the End Times scripture, this says to me that the leaf is on the fig tree and we are to understand the signs of the times, which is your ministry, we are to understand where we are in God's end times history. Rather than seeing this as a negative, we need to rejoice, Maranatha Come Lord Jesus, His day is at hand. When we see up is down and right is called wrong, when this is happening, we were told this; these days would be as the days of Noah."

No further comment necessary.

Only good part of the article:

Bachmann is not running for reelection in 2014.

Obscene.

Impeach him now!

Some things are just not acceptable!

She was born/lived in Waterloo, Iowa, my hometown. Waterloo used to be a cool place back in day, but now, it's a gigantic cesspool with a bunch of buildings around it. Anyways, John Wayne Gacey lived in Waterloo and got caught diddling kids before he decided to move to Chicago and clown around. He is more popular here than her.

Serial Killers > Michelle Bachman

So, just sayin', Michelle, *You KNOW* the President of the United States of America has committed impeachable offenses...

... and you *refuse* to file Articles of Impeachment...

... so, you're confessing to being a part of this conspiracy, is that what you're saying?

People are on the edge of civil disobedience? It's odd what putting hundreds of thousands of folks out of a job and shutting down basic necessaties will drive people to do, eh?

Problem solved: Anyone serving in Congress should have to take a psych test.

Because dammit, this woman belongs in a psychiatric hospital, not in our government.

Other than the fact that the Democrats aren't latching that crazy to every Republican they can in anticipation of a blowout come 2014 and the Republicans aren't arranging her immediate "retirement to spend more time with her family and deal with personal issues", no

Cagey B: In Michelle Bachmann's mind, the soundtrack is a continual loop of "Turkey in the Straw," and cartoon bald eagles do constant battle with 1920s drawings of black people while dodos hit things with mallets.

You notice that these people can never actually NAME these "impeachable offenses"? Just like they can never point to" thuggery" that is any different than what any President has ever done in history. Same with the whole "dictator" thing. Once again, he hasn't acted markedly different than his predecessors, but these morons conveniently forget that.

The fact that we are reduced to making jokes about this kind of lunacy from an elected representative may just be a sign of end times.  And I'm not talking about the biblical end time.  Just the end of our time as a country.

The fact that this woman has not been forced into resigning to "spend more time with her family" is appalling.

Even Reagan would have had her locked up.

Michelle Bachmann: "in my mind  "

There she goes again, exaggerating

Here is my question:

As her Congressional career winds down, Michele Bachmann is heading further and further down the rabbit hole of sanity.

Her husband Marcus is a repressed gay man, who works to 'counsel' other gay men into being straight.  I gotta wonder how hard it is on him to watch his wife going that far off the deep end on the national stage.

At this point, would her psyche withstand the blow of him being caught with another man?

This comment was so funny and spot-on that I copied it into a Facebook message and sent it to my two Minnesota friends. I just thought you should know.

Oh I guarantee she knows he gets with those men on the regular.

THIS

What are you talking about? (Also, eat a big one, Subby) Ketchup is teh perfect condiment for a hotdog. It's cool sweetness perfectly contrasts the hot/sour/spicy of the hotdot and the mustard. Mayonnaise, on the other hand...

This. I am sick and tired of these assholes going "Well, he's committed impeachable offenses," and the interviewer not intermediately asking "What, specifically, has he done?" and continue asking the question until they give an answer or admit they are wrong. It's farking disgusting. Same with the "thuggery" and "dictator" bullshiat.
