Two weeks later officials ordered the hospital and a one kilometer radius dynamited and burned in the increasingly frantic effort to fight the spread of the new White Plague.

"exposed" = "Some bitty with TB was in our hospital once and we don't want to get sued"

Kinda surprised that it's now two months later that they're getting around to taking these kinds of precautions. Depends on how long a tuberculosis test takes to provide results, may have just taken that long to get through all the hospital staff and get a figure on how many were exposed enough to register positive.

Don't worry, the Free Market will sort this all out.

The healthcare system in Vegas is one of the worst in the country. There are of course some good doctors, but proportionally much less than other parts of the country. I worked there for two years and was shocked at some of the physicians that practice there as well as the quality of the for profit system (which Summerlin is part of) and the University hospital.

No big deal. Free market will solve this.

If this hospital kills enough of your babies, you'll go somewhere else for the next one.
