cman: Its also illegal in Maine to open a plane door while in air even though its damn near impossible to do such(Doors are pressurized and pressed against the skin like a plug one finds in a bathtub. Going 800 miles per hour makes it impossible to pull the door from the skin. The plane must slow down in order to be able to open the door)

Straelbora: I was in Perth just before Christmas a few years ago. They had commercials touting that stores would be allowed to be open until SEVEN PM!!!! on the Sunday before Christmas.I was visiting a friend who moved back to Perth after years in Toronto and Seattle. She said it took the better part of a year to condition herself to no longer living where stores are open 24 hours a day. More than once, especially when she first moved back, she'd be in the middle of a cooking or sewing project at midnight and hop in her car to get some forgotten item only to remember that nothing was open./What they don't tell you about Western Australia: there are flies everywhere. Even in the middle of the desert, hundreds of miles from human settlement. And the crows meow.//
Clemkadidlefark: In Other News, there are still Woolworths(ours closed 1992)
