Poor cop must have been severely traumatized. It took him several days to even realize he had been there, let alone involved.

CrazyCracka420: Speef: Those motokiddies were behaving like absolute morons. None of them should be allowed back on the road.

That SUV driver should be in prison, though.  Pity he got off with a few bruises and slashes. If there was a cop there, he should have been shooting the driver as soon as he decided to use deadly force against a mass of helpless riders on the motorway.

Everyone involved sucks ass.

They boxed the SUV in with bikes/people.  That was their first mistake.  You don't get to imprison other people.  You are not the law enforcement (well some were...but that's another story).  You don't get to slash someone's tires and act aggressively with 20 or 30 or 40 times more people than the car you're surrounding.  If a group of thugs are attacking your vehicle, you have every right to escape the situation.  Parking your bike in front of an SUV on the freeway doesn't give you a free pass to vandalize and become violent with the vehicle/occupants.  The bikers learned a valuable lesson about cause and effect, and physics that day.  There's consequences for your actions, hopefully the bikers learned something.

Not sure if you're trolling or stupid, but it doesn't matter because some people (a very small minority) still believe what you said.

What do you mean, a very small minority?

That's the curse of being a professional. You see some hack doing something wrong, and you want to help him do it right. It's instinct. So you see a biker kicking some poor schmuck in the ribs, and you just react, You tell him, "No, no. The kidneys are below the ribs. Sure, the ribs can make a nice crunchy target for your steel toed boots, but trust me, you want the kidneys."
And then the newspaper jumps all over you, just for sharing your expertise with a novice.

BizarreMan: Meanwhile, Christopher Cruz, 28, who allegedly started the chain of events by slowing down his bike to let his pals ahead - leaving Lien to bump his car into him - said in an interview aired Monday that he felt no responsibility.
"
I was looking over my shoulder to see where my friends were," he told ABC News. "I wanted them to pull in front so I could follow them. I didn't brake, but when I looked over my shoulder, my hand came off the throttle a little, but the driver didn't slow down at all and bumped me."

*Cough*Bullshiat*Cough*

Video shows a different story.

You really think someone would do that? Just go to the media and tell lies?

At that close a range he never would have hit anything but bikers, at least the way NYPD shoots.

LemSkroob: I_C_Weener: This explains why the NYPD didn't want to actually police these gangs.

The qualifications for entering the NYPD have been drastically lowered in the last decades thanks to quotas and equal employment rights, and lower standards of character & personal history disqualifiers. This is the result.

Ah yes, the minute they started letting brown people and women in was when everything went to hell. Just like the country, amirite?

"...prosecutors declined to press ahead with the case against another biker, Allen Edwards, 43, of Queens, who allegedly punched the driver's side rear window of Lien's SUV before Lien was pummeled. " - TFA

WHY NOT? There is enough evidence to make a charge.

""Prematurely charging individuals with low-level crimes does not further the goals of the investigation and could weaken the cases we expect to bring against the perpetrators of serious crimes." " - Manhattan district attorney's Trials Division, Karen Friedman Agnifilo

So... even with enough evidence to charge someone with a lower crime, they get away with it because someone around them was committing a larger crime?

How...what? I don't even...

As for the undercover cop, disgusted law-enforcement sources said Monday that Internal Affairs Bureau higher-ups want to nail the officer.
"The cop is a total mope. F-ing embarrassment, '' one source seethed. "They should can him immediately. Anyone else who was even peripherally involved should be canned."

He continued-

"You can't do this s-  out of uniform!  You wanna brutally beat someone who offends you somehow, or you just don't like the look of, you do it in uniform!  There's a reason we wear a shield, a shield is something you hide behind!"
