This could be the back ground story on Marty McFly's jailbird uncle, which led Doc to think of using a car for time travel.

Five more mph and he had it.

I was driving down the highway a few years ago and I came up behind an empty car carrier with it's ramp down.  My first thought was "INSANE STUNT BONUS!"

In GTA V...

I stole a car, took it to the shop, and spent $50,000+ on customizations. `Drove it out of the shop, hit the freeway, and floored it. Passing a slowpoke on the road, I must have hit the cement block on the median, and the car flipped up and over, off the freeway, and into a shop at street level (which was apparently made of invulnerable bricks and glass). Franklin flew out of the front windshield, smashed into the invulnerable shop, and woke up in the hospital.

The car, which cost him quite a lot of money to upgrade, was never seen again.

Incidentally, part of that money went into armor, which meant that with everything that happened in this spectacular crash, the car was just fine. That's the crappy part of this; If the car were still there, Franklin could have gotten back in, started it up, and drove it home.

You'd think when you get in a wreck and are taken to the hospital, that they'd tow your car around the same time. But nope... Not in impound, not at home, not at garage.

It's getting to the point where you can't steal a car and spend outrageous sums on customization without risking someone stealing what you've stolen. What a world.

That is why you have some reliable family like your mom, niece and nephew watch the car as you run from the cops.

You have to have Franklin buy the Los Santos Customs franchise then all those mods are free.

/sucks his franchise is out on Route 68 near Sandy Shores
//then you have to drive it back to Vinewood Hills

Right and you should wait until you get the pay out from the final main story line mission, then do the missions for Lester. That way you are playing with serious money when you begin to manipulate the stock market.
