AnotherBluesStringer: Seriously...T.J. Yates. Put him in.
Nana's Vibrator: That Schaub lad has a problem. My guess is either torn meniscus or torn labrum. His throwing mechanics be all f*cked up.
mentallo69: AnotherBluesStringer: Seriously...T.J. Yates. Put him in.Yates isnt the answer. Nobody is beating Denver in the AFC this season so you might as well start getting Keenum in the game as I think he is the Texans best shot down the road. Not a Texans fan, just my observation.
Straight Outta Wells Branch: We have the football equivalent of Brad Lidge out there throwing to the other team.
lilplatinum: Straight Outta Wells Branch: We have the football equivalent of Brad Lidge out there throwing to the other team.Bad analogy, at one times lidge was among the best closers in baseball, Schaub was never a top tier QB. Lidge also became good again once he left clutch city, but somehow I doubt that will happen with Schaub. We have a great running back who's admittedly pushing closer to 30, a HOF WR who's got about two more good years left...and then what?JJ Watt? Daniels? Graham? Cushing? Tate? Best punter in the league maybe? Hopkins will be good. We have plenty of talent on the team, the problem is this was our best chance to capitalize before it gets too expensive to keep what we want.Yates is worse than Schaub and Keenum is not going to be a successful QB, not many good options.
