I'm sitting in my apartment about five blocks south of the Capitol. The storm is already here.

Odds that one of the Teahadists will cite this as "God's Judgment on Fartb0ngo for refusing to compromise, refusing to impeach himself, refusing to resign, refusing to reduce his melanin levels, refusing to refute his Muslinicity, refusing to admit that John McNaughton's paintings are of real events and/or refusing to admit he goes out at night in blue coveralls personally raising gas prices what for the Flying J outside Murfreesboro?"

Just more proof of the Weather Dominator?

It's possible, but it would be very odd, given his track record for using the weather machine against his people, rather than to prevent it.

Washington DC faces a potential disaster

Yeah, for the last five years, but only if you're looking roughly WNW up Pennsylvania Avenue.

It's already passed.

/Really subby? A weather thread?

Just like everything else from the Federal Government, this warning is 6+ years too late.

Sorry, wasn't clear. The plaid potato is what the comments in theorellior's link went to.

I apologize for any confusion that sprung from my posting. Any other sources, you're on your own.

CSB

I was at AOL 10ish years ago (near Dulles airport) when a tornado came right through campus. Tornado's are not common in the area, so naturally I ran right to the bank of windows to watch (hey, I worked at AOL - what did I have to live for?)

I was in building CC1 and the tornado wrapped itself around CC2 next door. It really didn't look that bad, almost like a wispy dancing funnellish cloud. Kinda pretty actually. Seemed like no big deal.

Went out after it came through and there were big branches everywhere and a path of destruction into the forest next door. Lots of big trees down.

It JUST missed going right through the daycare center just up the road.

You know his majesty is serious about not negotiating when he busts out HAARP on D.C.

We could only be so lucky to have a tornado wipe out Congress & the White House.

Not much of a storm. But we did get this gorgeous sunset after it passed.

I've been seeing all sorts of gorgeous pics of the sky after the storms passed, and dammit if I didn't sleep right through it!

Pretty picture, btw!
